Incidentally, the container now seems to have no problem running Flatpaks. Version 103 on my machine didn't need the fix.

I have a Acer Chromebook C720 series It doesn't have Linux or Google play store Is there's a way to install application in my Chromebook?

Unfortunately no.. those Chromebooks don't have the necessary subsystems to make that work. There's a way to load another image, on the C720, that will allow you to run Android apps but it's not a process that I'll be covering (since I don't have one of these Chromebooks). used this to see how to install the apps and when i ran the command luckily i had not ran into the issue caused by nesting containers set to disabled since the source i used was actually the official flatpak chrome OS instructions and it tells you to enable nested containers as the first step

My 'new' refurbished Chromebook no longer updates, ( since 2021) but I'd like to modify it or figure out how to install Linux apps, and I need some help. I've already removed the WP screw and swapped out the 16GB SSD for 128GB. Can I install another version of Chrome OS that still updates, or is this impossible? Can I try SeaBIOS and run a few operating systems and an external hard drive instead?

I am trying to use Fluidsynth on my HP chromebook (intel pentium silver, 4gb RAM) but every time I open Fluidsynth (aka Qsynth), it says "failed to create audio driver (Jack)" Do you know how to get this "Jack" driver? Did you launch it from the command line and got exit status 256? If you just launched it from the app menu then start watching the video about at about 5:45. I mention to launch it from the command line, the first time, because there may be an error that I then tell you how to fix.
