Thanks for sharing! I’m really happy with my Nano but I’m also jealous of you EEW6 and looking forward to more videos with it.

Thank you so much for making the video of the EEW 6.0!! Really makes me anxious for my Kick starter 6.0 to ship. Can’t wait to see your future video’s of how it handles bulky and bumpy, lumpy art yarn!!

Thanks for this and your video on spinning cobweb weight on the EE6. You've answered my questions - I want an electric wheel with a large capacity bobbin that I can spin extremely fine weight yarns on and most mentions I have seen of this wheel are people spinning worsted weight to bulky yarns. So not my thing, I love spinning cobweb weight silk but my knees can't keep up with the treadling that requires!

Glad to have helped! You can absolutely spin an enormous range of yarns on this. For super super fine yarns I prefer the Daedalus Falcon as it's much faster, and I'm a very fast spinner, but it is very expensive and doesn't do the huge range the 6.0 does, and doesn't have the bobbin capacity either. For me this isn't an issue as when I spin fine I rarely need more than can fit on a bobbin, so I'm glad to have both to fit my varying spinning needs. The 6.0 is far far more versatile, as well as being considerably cheaper .

@@vampyyy The Daedalus is way out of my price range and until recently I had no idea that the EEs existed as a more affordable alternative. I have a kromski Minstrel and regularly overflow one of it's bobbins when spinning a single braid of hand painted roving into sock or lace yarns. I'm planning on setting up an Etsy shop with my Handspun so those larger bobbins to be able to keep the yarn in single skien will be fantastic. Though now after watching several more videos I am lusting after the nano too just because it is so adorable.

@@opinionatedtatertot815 yes, for sock and laceweight the 6.0 is perfect! and you're right, the nano is adorable.

I have a few questions. Can you spin slow on it? (like if your not really good at spinning yet) Would you be willing to do a video on spinning hemp on it?
@vampyyy

Yep, you can adjust the speed down to really slow. In theory I'm willing to show spinning hemp on it, but I'm not actually sure if I have any hemp fibre. If I can't find any, is linen good enough?

@@vampyyy sorry to answer with another question. But is linen also a long staple? If yes, than yes please. :)
