First, I’m glad you had a healthy baby. That’s wonderful. Thanks for reacting to this beautiful James Blunt song. As a lot of his songs are, it’s based on reality, because he and his wife lost a daughter to miscarriage. He has the ability to take that pain and sadness and write a song that so many people can relate to, as he did with ‘Monsters.’ I agree with @linajons that you should react next to ‘No Bravery’ next. It’s an incredibly moving song about his time serving in the British Army in Kosovo.

You are one of the only couples who didn't keep stopping and starting the video. There is nothing worse than reviewers doing this. Thankyou for not doing that. Great review guys. glad everything turned out well for your little girl.

My wife’s sister was told the same bullshit by a doctor up in Massachusetts and they were going to abort so we offered to take the baby. Fortunately she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who just graduated college now.

I have a chromosome abnormality called turner syndrome where only 1% of babies make it to term, and even now in 2024 drs still push abortion, so your story hits. As a child whose parents would have been counceled to abort had I been diagnosed in utero(I wasn’t diagnosed until age 9) , kudos to you for standing firm for your daughter.

I had to make the choice to take the medications that cause an abortion in January of 2020. I had something called an abdominal implant pregnancy. Normally the babies die on their own before women even know they are pregnant but i am very perceptive of my body. I was about 5 weeks maybe less. I am very pro-choice but i had always wanted one more baby but because i had cancer it isn't possible. I searched the Internet for 2 days looking for stories of successful abdominal pregnancies and i did find one where both mom and baby survived without issues but it turned out to be fake. I had to choose between trying to carry to term, knowing that i was almost certain to die trying or to take the pills that killed the baby so that i could be here for my kids. I know i made the right choice, but i think about that baby a lot and wonder what they would have been like.
