EFF criticises SANDF's handling of soldier deaths

The EFF has expressed its condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the nine SANDF soldiers killed in the DRC. However, the party criticised the SANDF for what it describes as a 'lack of urgency and respect', in informing the public and the families of the fallen soldiers. EFF MP, Carl Niehaus speaks to Newzroom Afrika’s Hugo Ribatika for more on this.

Why on earth was Angie Motshekga made the Ministerof Of SANDF (Defence. Sometimes I wonder if really these Cabinet ministers posts are worthy. A woman who failed as Minister for Education and Training and produced disastrous results with most of those who are said to have passed Matric don’t even know what to do after and have joined groups of school dropouts because of lowest passing marks. The woman is disorganised herself and can’t be put in the army, worse to be in charge? Even an idiot like myself can see where danger is. The ANC led government is responsible for ensuring that our army /soldiers are super trained, well equipped, well fed and are able to respond/repel any threats and dangers. Why is this even discussed. Ramaphosa, please recall her and put someone responsible enough. Don’t put the young life’s of our children at risk.
