NOTHING has influenced me as a teacher more than Grinder’s “ENVoY” has. As a classroom manager, I was very “coachy” and used my volume a lot in class. I learned this was only effective some of the time and NOT with any student from a background of trauma. Grinders book helped me to have a softer, quieter, and calmer classroom where ALL expectations are clearly communicated in a kind way. I tell every teacher I can about this book and these skills!
