I am have been enjoying all your videos, mirrors,roundabouts and junctions. I find them helpful and easy to to understand and remember as you use catchy phrases like 'if you can walk it you can cross it' I like the way you explained that you always use mirrors in pairs. Please could you do a video on hazard perceptions because I passed my multiple choice but missed out by 5 to 6 perceptions. Thks Hina

Would it benefit the driver of always checking all 3 mirrors to get more information from around the vehicle, I know it’s more difficult but would that benefit more?

Hi Howard, I'm thinking of taking an 86 year old full driving licence holder for my part three. He is a great driver but I could work on his mirror checks, especially the left one. The only other thing I have noticed is that his lane discipline is not great. Would you suggest I keep the part three to only mirrors and just talk about the lane discipline, or stop and change the lesson? Would I be penalised for not stopping? Thanks Nick

When you turning into a new road do you have to check all mirrors or just a pair of mirrors? I've been taught to check in pairs only 🤔
@How-2-drive Жыл бұрын
We just need to be aware of our surroundings, so if a motorcycle was about to overtake or a scooter was try to pass on the left, the driver should be aware, so update the mirrors before changing speed or direction.

@How-2-drive5 жыл бұрын
moby s you’ll need to prepare a 1 hour lesson for a pupil. The examiner will observe from the back seat. Pick a lesson that the pupil needs to learn. I’d strongly advise you get yourself a good trainer. The test is very difficult with a national pass rate of just 35% Thanks for watching

@@How-2-drive I'm just an adi who does FLH. but I wouldn't mention POM or convex and flat glass they would get offended and I believe it's pointless unless as you said you are preparing them for part 2 and they gonna be instructors. in my sc I always take FLH and I wouldn't say basic skills like you do

Another great video Howard. I bet the majority of FLH's don't understand the difference between convex and flat glass and why we check the interior (flat) first. Essential knowledge to know. We ask questions to check knowledge, if we don't ask we'll never know. No such thing to me as a basic question. Thanks Howard 😁
