Speaking of Raleigh City Farm - if you still have a good relationship with them, I'd love to see some follow up videos in 2022. I'd really love to see how the blueberries are doing! How are the changes you made working out? Love the channel, Josh. Thanks and Merry Christmas/Happy New Year to you and your family.

I most appreciate the diligence you apply to keeping things simple and most efficient for your operation. Most impressive indeed.

cool video chief....what do you feel about the cleanliness of the fans and them blowing on your product.....they seem like normal box fans.....issues?....God bless
@joegarrity1012 жыл бұрын
I took the grates off the front of mine that would normally prevent a kid from sticking their hand into the fan. This way I can easily clean the blades and you don't get that funky buildup of dusty stuff on the fans.

Does your wash/prep station need to be state certified?

I'm a little surprised at the pvc and the hardware cloth. Cpvc or PEX are considered safe for potable water, pvc is not. Hardware cloth and chicken wire have coatings that are not considered food safe. I personally would eat your food no problem, but I thought I should mention these things.
@lisakukla4592 жыл бұрын
I hadn't considered that. Hm. Does anything come to mind that could be used in place of hardware cloth?

Awesome setup! Love your channel. I noticed your greens drying rack had a little wobble. A few small corner gussets would stiffen that right up. 😀

Hi!! have you calculated about how much water you need to run your 1/8 acre farm for a whole year plus the water needed for the washing station? thanks!

Would love to see a video where you address how much money your farm makes in a season. Clearly there are many factors that can affect those numbers but I think it would really be a benefit to the community who admires your videos. Including myself. Thanks Josh!

Lots of great ideas, I've watched some of your other wash station videos in the past. I'm slowly putting my wash station together, I'm really liking the spinner, I'm now going to have to think about how to build one and install it in my space 🤔

after washing them, drying them, sorting them, you dump them on the floor and sweep the greens?

Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials. Where did you get your amazing wash tub? What is it called so that I can Google it? I'm in Ireland

Hello Josh - had someone ask me what i was doing to sanitize the equipment in the wash\pack area. I guess some states require you to sanitize between crops and\or wash\pack days. Here is the stuff they were told to use " Ecolab® Tsunami® 100 is an antimicrobial water additive for pathogen reduction in fruit and vegetable processing water. It is recommended for use in process waters of post harvest, fresh cut and processed fruit and vegetables in both batch and continuous operations" . Thoughts on this in a small market garden setting? Heard of this at all? Do my research now to see if SC requires anything like this. thanks for you time!

You are a good teacher and orator. Very informative and useful. Question on the bubbler - how often do you disassemble and sanitize the bubbler?

Look at farmer friend... they have a standard unit and one with wifi. I got a wifi during the summertime; with the bubbler kit... building out a new wash/ packing station, 01/2022. During the last year, I watch a video and they showed veggie spinner they got off ebay. Have a great day!
