on look before u sleep segment rn. two things. one, while you make good points about the book's odd placement, the inclusion of twilight saying it's her "own personal copy" is to further emphasize the fact that twilight was really excited about the idea of a slumber party with her friends to make rarity and applejack's behavior in the episode look all the more inconsiderate. two, you are a menace for revealing what marshmallows are made of. this is why they say ignorance is bliss. i'll still give ur vid a like tho edit: when lauren talks ab fluttershy's awkward phase, she actually means that her being distinctly taller than the majority of fillies her age is actually considered awkward, which can often lead people (especially younger ones) to believe they're different and cause them to recluse like fluttershy.

I just wish Gen5 was better. Either a completely separate universe, with NO connection to the original. Or more in line to Gen4. No Twilight creating the gems taking away magic *That felt more like something the Mean 3 would have done, which each of them taking a gem and hiding it. Maybe with one of them regretting the actions, My idea... Cozy Glow now old and full of regret. "What had we done... Thought we'd rule the world, thought Friendship was just power.. So much wasted time to actually make real friends... We were so alone in the end."* And of course the dragons... I mean I could understand them making the younger dragons having pony aspects, imply that the era of friendship uniting the species resulted in relationships between species. But those that came before like Spike, Smolder, etc... They should have been more dragon like, with NO cutiemarks. Oh and the lack of Celestia, Luna, Discord in the show. Except in the comics. *Honestly Discord being weaker made no sense, he was a spirit of chaos. The world was MORE chaotic at the time. I would have had him be a surprise character, helping the main cast throughout the series changed as a stallion with pink hair. Having a caring personality, owning an animal sanctuary. With a door he keeps hidden behind a bush. The main cast find it, he tells them to NEVER open it. When they do... The room is all chaotic, much like his house. He appears gets disappointed. Then reveals himself. The room also has various Fluttershy stuff, some statues, paintings, etc.* Oh and hint that the mane 6 are still around, but they let discord turn THEM to stone to be released to train new heroes when the time comes. While also reveal that Twilight and the Rest of the princesses were.. Trapped this whole time, between worlds or something. Since as we saw... Places like Canterlot were in RUINS. Something happened more than just Opaline doing her thing... A true disaster. Oh and Opaline... Yeah shouldn't have been a "old childhood friend" of the two sisters, who they ignored.. When it would have fit more if she was treated like a queen since she was a kid... Which considering her name can be shortened to Opal. And a certain unicorn had a cat that ALSO shared that shortened name. Combine that with her mastery of FIRE magic specifically and her fur color.... One could have implied that she was Rarity and Spike's kid. Which wasn't exactly as bad as one thinks, because he was born when Twilight was in grade school. Only 4-7 years age difference. Baby as a dragon, but possibly teenage for Pony.
