I have had 3 of their silver and fun fact - they actually are not all the same. Different batches contained variations in color so each set is slightly unique. ❤️❤️

Great shave. Love the Leaf, I've done a 4 day shave with it and the Leaf had no issues. I've used it for almost a year without trying anything else since it provides great shaves. Trying the Parker injector adjustable tonight as it came today. Have a great day buddy.

Mike I was totally the same way. I kept seeing all the different razors, but was so happy with the leaf I never thought I needed to expand out haha there's many good shaves out there - the leaf just checked all the boxes for me. Probably why you and I get along so well. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Parker!? Ive heard and read tons of mixed reports. Have a wonderful night buddy!!

@@SubieShaves The Parker does well once you find and keep the angle. It's definitely a milder shaver but does pretty good at the highest setting. Just a few spots I got anything with the Thorn but that's probably just cause first use of new razor.

Awww thanks my friend!! Yup, my wife is a leaf-addict. It's funny - I like to give her a razor loaded up to try, and she always duels it with the Leaf (I do that so I can have some insights for lady shavers here). To date, only the Twig and Henson razor have been as good for her as her trusty Leaf. The winning razor apparently has too much blade feel, and was too heavy. She also didn't like the smooth handle. I was like just use a different handle - and she said it should come perfect 'like the leaf' without having to swap parts. 😝😂😝 Thanks for being here my friend!! I tried to film today...and had a AWFUL experience with my Permasharps. I got a full blade from the factory - so the video just didn't work. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Top 3 IS TOUGH as it changes for day to day - as I am always trying new things. The Thorn is my #1 modern SE (it's fast and really easy to use), I really like the MAXWELL| June, and when I want a timeless classic - the Single Ring provides a banging close shave. Problem is that leaves out so many that I do genuinely love haha How about yourself?

Pre shave is very person to person. I like the extra skin food and overall bonus to slickness - but anymore, stuff is so good it's more of a nicety. Just my opinion. Man - I love the ease of the Thorn for neck shaves, but it takes more skill to use on the dome compared to the Leaf. I probably would recommend the Leaf for someone with less experience, but overall, I personally perfer the Thorn on the neck.

Probably go Thorn - honestly, the Leaf works on the neck, but I find the Thorn to be much easier to maneuver there.

You're head is almost perfectly round, mine is not. Can i still get a good bald head shave with the leaf?

Absolutely!!! And this literally made me laugh hahaha my head is not as round as it appears, and my surgical scars from having cancer make the back of my head... Difficult. The skin on my scars is VERY sensitive, with ridges, that tend to nick very easily - and the leaf works amazing for me. Another one of my buddies here, has had MAJOR skull reconstruction here - and he swears only by the leaf. It is a odd razor, that simply works for that space incredible well. It is unlike any other Safety razor I have used, and continues to impress me and everyone I meet that uses one.. it is NOT the best face shaver for lining beards, and it does shave VERY different from other razors - and that's what makes it work for the skull 👍 Keep in mind, I'm just one person, and my opinion is bias from my last 2 year's of amazing leaf shaves. The best thing is if you hate the Leaf it does have that 30 day guarantee. 😉

Nice video and shave! I might give the Leaf a try some day. For now the Thorn has been the sweet spot for me. I was wondering, do you have any videos about how you build your lather? Do you use a bowl, or just right in the container? Lately I've just been building the lather directly on my head, but it's a little awkward to do if I use a pre-shave (speaking of which, I tried Cremo as a pre-shave and it worked well).

I have not done any lathering tutorials or discussions - as it's such a sensitive topic. I would hate to offend a user, using a technique that they don't approve of, especially since I am a bowl / scooper. I've talked a tiny bit about it, but I still have PTSD from people arguing about lather. I will say this - I follow Cosmo Barbers technique pretty closely 👍👍

Subie,,,All you have to do is lather up, put the razor on “Auto Pilot “. You’ll be done before you know it. If I were to start shaving my head the razor of choice would be the the Leaf. It gives a great face shave no matter what blade choice is. The Subie stack works great.
