Awesome intro. I like to take that scraper vertical to the soap with the curved side against the tub wall and it scrapes up the soap nicely even off the tub wall. It's awesome you got this razor and compare it to the others they are offering. Have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving

I am a bit late to the party but hey, I made it. That is a cool looking razor! and the Project 51 sounds very nice. The mandarin and mint sounds like an interesting combination. Great video as always.

Insane production like always, Josh 😂. One slthing to watch out for in the MKC Proof is that it scrapes when putting in and out of the stand, and I'm afraid that's gonna be the area that is gonna start wearing off first. I am personally gonna skip the brass. Happy holidays!

Always fun to get creative with the magnetic stuff 😜 I would be very cautious with anything that holds it tight for sure, the coating will for sure wear off and thats not really fixable. All good on skipping my friend - there is always something this time of year! Thanks for watching!

@SubieShaves mine fell 3 times already from the base 🤣

Nice! I might have to pick up their standard model and do a handle, like I did with the OneBlade. I have the older design and haven't used the updated design so it does make me curious what it's like. I'd probably do a different style handle for their razor, something more modern. I hope you are doing well and have a great Thanksgiving!

i so wanted the new version of the Proof razor but the place i bought mine has bad commutations with the guys that makes The Proof razor according to the place i shop they never got answers when writing to them oh and it is the only Danish place to get them and now sold out they never got the MKII

The brass looks nice but not for $250. I think what you said about the weight engaging the head (similar to the hybrid or genesis from Oneblade) will give a better shave. Hopefully they will make a SS version of the razor
@SubieShavesАй бұрын
They took us it would be expensive - what's kinda crazy is that it's cheaper than I had originally heard estimated! Thanks for watching my friend! Happy holidays!

@ have a happy thanksgiving. I have the original and the pre Montana stamped new one. At this point in the rabbit hole I have so many razors that a lot of them collect dust and my wife has started complaining about the collection. If it is reasonably priced and solves something for me then I’ll get it. The big issue with the aluminum is that while it will not rust you do have to have to press to engage the head and pressing too hard digs the blade into your face.

Tough question - so much goes into choosing a "forever" piece. Price, material, aggressiveness, angle type...it really makes choosing something quite personal. I often recommend Yates for this reason - truly a "build it your way" - from Titanium to Stainless, Ranging from short handled to very long - and everything from ultra mild to very aggressive. And it all functions with a more modern angle which I personally like. One of, if not my favorite, Ti razor still to date in the H and EH plate. Move from there, Blackland Blackbird is phenomenal for me and still one I reach for. A beautiful, quality made tool with a very aggressive blade feel. Go for Hype - the new Ti Aylsworth Razors APEX looks quite promising. It's all the buzz right now I am hearing about. I grabbed one as I like the Apex SS - but still think the Drakkant was better (personally). Then you have the Premium at a good price Yaqi brand. Offerings from Wolfman Clones, to truly unique adjustable SS razors - all offer a lifetime material and quality. All very affordable. No one will scoff at a SS Yaqi these days. Beyond all of that, razors from Timeless, Wolfman, Carbon are all exceptional, hand crafted, and true "Bathroom art". Each offering a full selection of materials and performance. Lastly - you can't forget razors like the Rex Konsul, Rex Ambassador. Built like a tank, and beyond high quality, for those who like adjustable settings. Other brands exist, many which I have yet to buy, that keep me searching for the next best stubble killer.
