Jodie, this is a lovely lesson. Feeling much new ease. Thank you! Just curious... what audio equipment are you using now? Your recordings are so clear !!! (I know you used to use your iPhone ?) :-)

Thanks very much for your positive feedback. I think I was using a lapel much for this recording. My husband, Ben Chase is a composer and he ordered the audio equipment for me. I'll check out the name of it

does the order matter? the other day i did one from Alphonse i felt as i would feel much better i did in the way, but, today my my lower ribs are are sore but something about it i felt right but? do you have one it was called lengthening the spine
@JodieKrantz Жыл бұрын
Sometimes we present things in a particular order, however my KZbin videos are more like samples and not intended as a substitute for treatment. Try my effortless posture series, it has an order and helps to lengthen the spine. I'm sorry Cindy but without seeing you I can't offer any personal advice

As I'm doing this, I have a burning question. I know and feel that the neck flatten/chin comes down as arms go over the head. But when we try and follow the hands, I can follow them farther if I begin to arch/extend my neck in a funny way, Is that what we're looking for, or should the movement be smaller when following with the eyes, because your neck is going down, so the hands go out of view quickly, right? Is it to extend the neck and follow them way over the head, or keep teh movement small?? Also, this helps immensely with forward head posture, to get the shoulders back and head back into place. Apart from this, are there certain strengthening exercises one should be doing to help fix this "forwad head posture" or can it be fixed with just feldenkrais alone?

Hi Andrea, sorry for my slow response. Yes, you need to extend your neck and yes, make your movements smaller so you don't strain your neck. Otherwise it's OK for your hands to go out of site as that would be fine too. I'm so glad it's helping with your posture. I will post my 'chin tucks' video. These are also good for forward head posture.

@@JodieKrantz Yes thanks for your thorough answers and committment to helping others. I hope you don't forget or take too long to get us the "chin tuck" video and hopefully it doesn't involve lifting the head, because that makes my suboccipitals tighter!
