QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is your favourite ice cream flavour and who makes it? I'm gonna be honest, I love me some Ben and Jerry's "Netflix and Chill'd". The salty pretzel swirl with peanut butter and brownie pieces...good golly Miss Molly. SO GOOD.

thanks for the recipe. I am getting the same ice cream maker from facebook marketplace today for $20! Can't wait to give it a try.

I run a classic Cuisinart... the great grand-pappy of this one! But it still does a treat. Though I've never tried just throwing some mint leaves in. Thanks for the tip about not pushing on them to avoid the bitterness. This is just an excellent recipe video!

Wow. Totally appreciate that coming from you! Your channel is ABSOLUTE 🔥🔥🔥. Also, I checked out your website which looks amazing. I'm currently working my way through creating one. Have any tips?

Can you use Stevia or Monkfuit vs sugar?

Hi! Came over from the cooking creators FB group to watch and give you support! Congratulations on starting your channel! Who needs the eggs when you can have this creamy version?! Looks so good! I never have room in my fridge either! Great job on the video!! I

Appreciated Karen! Thanks for the feedback. You're right! The eggless version is just as good (if not better) than the version with eggs. Also, more cost effective, I suppose!

That looks really creamy and fluffy 😍 I definitely need one ice cream maker at home now. It’s so cool that we can control what ingredients and how much goes in it when it’s homemade! Thanks for sharing ❤️

It’s honestly worthwhile. There’s always some sort of cheap deals on Facebook and sometimes on Amazon Warehouse! 👌🏽

I'm thinking about buying this ice cream maker too. How did get creamy ice cream without a stabilizer? Do you think it was the ingredients, the machine or the temp of the freezer?

Hey Ajay! Greetings from Toronto, ON! I came across your channel and you helped us learn how to make fro-yo and ice cream. Thank you for sharing such awesome content!! We need your advice :) The ice cream didn't really work out. The mixture never thickened up while it was churned. We used 2% lactose free milk instead of 3.25%. Do you think that was the issue?

Sorry to hear that Slava! It might be the fat content in the milk. In my recipe, I used whole milk. It could have also been that the container wasn’t frozen enough? Did you freeze it for 24 hours? Thanks for leaving a comment! Hope you find success! Glad you enjoyed the video!

I'm at the start but I use instant pudding for eggless ice cream

INSTANT pudding?! That's genius! How does it turn out?

@@TheCultureofCookery really good, it definitely adds thickness! Plus there's a good amount of flavors available. You only need a tablespoon or two. Beware if you use sugar free though. Something about that sweetener makes a strange mouth feel if you use too much.

Thanks for this review, less ingredients the better, that’s why I bought one. And yes, I can relate hard to find space in the fridge and freezer when it’s full. You sound Filipino?

NOOOOOOOOO!! Nothing worse than having no ice cream! Two things I'd suggest: 1. Make sure you freeze the bowl AT LEAST the night before, if not like two days before. We just keep our in our freezer in the summer. 2. Try to use Homogenized milk - higher fat content should ensure that fats make it creamy 3. Ensure all your ingredients are cold before putting them in. I once through everything in at room temp, it didn't freeze hard enough and I ended up with ice cream with a lot of ice crystals.

Why is no egg something good? It has way less nutrition now
@TheCultureofCookery Жыл бұрын
I suppose? But let's be honest, no one eats ice cream for nutritional value 😂. There's also a lot of people with egg allergies?
