Yes!! My 2015 Tahoe 120000 miles tranny started slipping. Dealership wanted 6k. Reset computer for $80. Problem solved.

So this is the older V2 cable using the v7.5 scan tool, I'm not sure you can use it with the new V3 cable. However I could make a video showing how to do it with the V8 software and the V3 cable.

What would be causing my transmission that I just put in my truck to stay in third gear and not show manual shift on dash also temperature coolant gauge shows -40°

Sounds like you didn't plug the harness in all the way
