I have a question about who was responsible for opening Graceland to the public. I read an interview that said Vernon entered into an agreement with Shelby County to have Elvis buried at Graceland. Vernon did all the preliminary work and Elvis & Gladys were moved & interred. Now plans to open Graceland started but Vernon got sick and Priscilla somehow managed to get control. Graceland now legally became a cemetery. Billy and Jo do know about this. I believe the interview was with a county official who was involved with the Presley’s and Shelby County. Priscilla had nothing to do with making Graceland a museum that people would pay to see. Vernon also had to agree to allow the public to visit the graves for free at set times. Priscilla came in and completely changed Graceland knowing Vernon wanted to keep it exactly the way it was when Elvis was there. Priscilla adopted the narrative that she had a brainstorm to open Graceland to keep it for Lisa. Can you tell me if this is true.

It appears she and Elvis were very close, but I really don't remember hearing any stories in regards to her and Elvis, other than Elvis bringing Lisa's pony inside of Graceland and it left a little gift to be cleaned up.
