Love the dynamic between both you guys! I bought the EFX helmet primarily for display. For the price and availability, you can't beat it. I believe it is the same mold they used on the Legend and Limited models as well which were pushing $2,000. Overall loved the review and I can't wait for a suit up with the ESB suit!

Agreed!! This helmet is the best price for what you get it looks absolutely amazing! I just wished it was more weathered but i can get someone to do it for me , and thank you for the compliment about my son and i , hes truly my best friend i love him more than words can describe . I plan to get the EFX version! It looks more menacing and authentic. The black series is not bad but EFX knocked it out of the park. I plan to go as Vader next year at work for Halloween.

@ that jazwares suit is fantastic best bang for buck out there . The mask is symmetrical but has more of a rotj vibe i definitely plan on reviewing one in the future

Hell yea bro this helmet is 2sweet for the price , i wanted another skunkworks props helmet but i did not want to pay another 900 lol so this does the trick …… for now lol maybe i upgrade later , keep me posted on your progress with your ep4 suit bro do you have instagram? Beautiful helmet and great review fellas! Definitely a nice edition to the collection, The Ruby's Supreme helmet was originally marketed as a Revenge of the Sith helmet, but has lineage back to the actual Empire Strikes Back mold. Look at it in a mirror and you will see all of the wonkeiness of it being hand carved. I have this helmet and have highly modified it with automotive 2 stage paint and clear coat, the correct 2 tone paint job, correct mouth grills, new lenses, and filed out the notches on the nose and in the mouth area, Removed the plastic nose piece & filled in the hole and painted in there as well, And use some industrial velcro to help the dome sit we're supposed to. The outcome was outstanding and you wouldn't even believe it's the same helmet! As always MTFBWY both!

The lenses on this was so bad i never gave it a chance lol couldn’t see 2 inches in front of me lol , im going to put it on a mannequin and set it in my arcade 💪🫡 always good chatting with you brother !

Hey brother, Thanks man yeah the difference really is night and day. And I totally hear you on the original lenses, They were like beer goggles! The replacement lenses are acrylic and from a place called Trick Toys and they are flat, but look 10 times better. Much later on a place in Germany came out with some really nice bubble lenses. I may have to do a little extra work and swap out with those. Unfortunately, no sir. I don't have Instagram or do much social media, But if I do, you'll be the first to know. Cool, great review, My son loves Vader, hed like to get into cosplay, his issue would be size woth a tad of a plus size neck so maybe when you try it it and gice your impressions on creature comfort i might look into EFX.

Honestly this helmet is the best you can get for the price you pay , but its made for a man thats 6ft 6 300 lbs ( david prowse ) they use the original molds so it looks perfect compared to ep 4 a new hope , but your best bet for your son is the hasbro ver 2 obi wan kenobi helmet its smaller and 1/3 the price it has the breathing sounds when you press a button and looks great ! This would be best for a child untill he gets big enough for a efx . I have reviewed all my helmets and i even put them on my son please use my older reviews as reference if you have any questions hit me back 💪🫡

This is the way they painted it for the films mike except for ep 3 where they made the helmet symmetrical for the first time and all black ! Its just so hard to see the detail of the face so they painted it with the gun metal for camera i never even noticed it till i fell to the darkside 😂😂
