Well, it's marketed as an EG because the Strike is. The pack is marketed under the Option Parts Set line. The colors really didn't work for me initially, but the decals and clear orange helped it out

Thoughts on the colors depend on the person you ask, but the variable silhouette does differentiate it from the Strike Gundams we most commonly know

Even if the Buster Weapons are loose, for me it's a 8/10, Fun Kit with issues that are (For me) easy to fix, 5:17 I Adore how look this in the Build Strike Exceed Galaxy. it's just strange that it wasn't present in the original kit, but I'm curious to see how well that DSPIAE marker will work on it. I'm also very surprised how uncannily well it fits on the Build Strike Exceed Galaxy. A shame that's a luxury that few get to experience. For the default color of the plastic probably some parts will be need some extra work for look good with DSPIAE makers (for what i can see in the video) i suspect for the grey and purple plastic, A good looking Exclusie Gunpla DLC that only would be know on video reviews. To be fair even I wasn't that big on this particular version as I just thought as just the same as the regular strike gundam except what would happen if it was piloted or used by a kid who's from a street gang or something. In this case I still don't care about this particular version what the gun barrel striker pack does look pretty cool albeit it's just a different color version of the regular striker pack and it just got the Buster gundam's guns at the bottom. In the end it's an all right kit but definitely not something that you should run out and immediately try to buy especially since we are supposed to be getting the normal gun barrel striker pack in the foreseeable future. It's a shame that the parts exclusive to this version might be removed from the regular Gunbarrel Striker pack. But yeah, it's a nice kit to have, but not essential. I'm still kinda giggling over how it plays dress-up with all its alternate forms. Happy Halloween

I did see this in the wild, in its limited edition GB4 box. Curious that you only warmed up to the kit after playing the game, bandai was probably hoping for the opposite

My RfV kits are in the mail. Just gotta wait for them and the urge to do some weathering hit me. I have experimented with tool reviews once with my NEOECO airbrush video, and I plan to do some quick tool reviews as well, like that joint strengthening pen from DSPIAE

Gunbarrel dagger/striker is a good looking design, but I have mixed feelings with this kit colours.... It's has the " Daban bootleg melting paint and plastic" vibes or "My first airbrush painted gunpla"

Closest thing is to get the Exceed Galaxy for the hard points and the regular Gunbarrel Striker releasing in January 2025. The adapters can be replaced with sprues except the ones for the Buster's guns, but I can't think of a way for the hardpoint module or the mounting brackets to be replicated using existing parts. Might have to go the scratch-building route for those
