Yah!! So glad I found you. I fell in love with the Turkish breakfast while visiting for one month this past May. Before departing I purchased 2 traditional heavy copper pans. With your recipe I now know about how to properly cook the eggs with sucuk or pepperoni. Thank you for explaining so clearly.

I lived with my husband then boyfriend in Istanbul orient side and had menemen with sucuk for the first time. So I use the menemen recipes here but put in sucuk and it´s heavenly. This just made me miss Bostancı, Kadıköy🥰

@@Unblahyourself_ I let the egg and ketchup mix fry a bit and then add the thin slices like making a pizza. I overdo it because I love sucuk. I only use the beef with garlic taste. enjoy🤗

Thank you for sharing the secret of cooking sucuk. I usually cook sucuk and eggs without water 🍳 Water will keep the sucuk from drying out. And I can cook the eggs slightly undercooked without worrying about my sucuk getting dry 👍🏻

I'm in America so I can't get sucuk but I'm going to make this using Zatarin's Cajun Smoked Sausage instead because it looks kind of similar. I've been to Turkey...love the food and the people. I'm so happy I came across your channel and subscribed.

I recently discovered this sausage at an ethnic grocery store. I love it can't wait to taste it this way been eating it straight like summer sausage. Hopefully i can find more ways to use it. I have also found soujouk spice mix and have made patties with ground turkey soo tasty.

@@tesledet9428 Persians and Europeans we're eating dried sausages long before Turks. Turks originally got much of their cuisine from Ancient Persia. Ancient Europe also was eating dried sausages long before Turkish people even came across this type of food. In China is actually recorded the earliest mention of dried sausages. Anyhow, Modern day Turkey has some of the best food I've ever had I love going there. But they do claim a lot of cuisine as theirs but in reality they just inherited it from others in the surrounding region.

@@BananaJoe478Countries have their own dried sausages. For example: Italians have salami, French have saucisson..
