92FS, made in Italy. After OP trigger bar install, DA wasn’t working with an easy pull, but four gentle passes with a brown india stone as suggested removed just enough material from the hammer (good closeup at 2:02) and now working like a charm. Two passes with the stone, dry fire/FTF, one pass with the stone, dry fire/FTF pulling left, one pass with the stone, dry fire/success pulling straight, to the right and to the left. Multiple successful checks and I’m good to go...the entire process took maybe 15 minutes. Just make sure you’re comfortable with the disassembly/assembly of your hammer/strut/spring workings. Thanks

I recently got this for my Italian M9A3. The single action worked great after install. The DA didn't function. The folks at Lagdon are top notch! I ended up shooting an email for a clear view of where to fit the hammer. It just took a few swipes with a India Stone to resolve my issue. It's fantastic don't hesitate to buy this kit.

Had this issue with the last OP trigger bar I installed in my 92FS Italian made. I took material off of the LTT OP trigger bar. Guess I should have waited for this video.
@4getting04 жыл бұрын
Same with my Italian 96A1. I could swear I saw an earlier video saying to take material off of the bar itself. Oh, well. I still love the trigger on my 96. Also, there is a place on the sear where it engages the trigger bar where you can remove material to get even less over travel on your single action pull. So if you take material off the trigger bar for your double action to drop then you can always hit the sear and make up for it and then some. I've done that to the sear on a couple of my Berettas and the single action is about as good as you can get.

@@LangdonTactical Yeah, I've picked up a few tricks along the way as well. Will definitely try this method on the next build. I put a hundred rounds through my LTT with the competition takedown lever today. It's a lot of fun having the gas pedal to plant my thumb on. I wish you would offer the Xtreme-S trigger group and the competition takedown lever on your website. I've had to import them from retailers in Italy and it usually takes about 10 days to get here. The takedown lever was 54 euros including shipping. You could probably do better than that and I think people would be interested.

I really appreciate your short and to the point style. A little more detail on exactly where to remove material and where *not* to remove any, and why not, would be a nice addition though. Don't want to screw up a perfectly good part, right?

Crochet needle is a must (or something like it). Did a 16# HS and the OP bar on my Girsan "centurian". Went from 10#/5# to 8.5/ 3. Glad i didnt get a light HS lol. Man. This made a difference! Thanks Ernest! Great product. Was easy to fit. Took about 4 tries. What recoil spring do you run? You seem to rack yours with very little effort. With the light spring, does it need a buffer? Not a buffer fan with EDC's.

I’ve been looking all over the place for why this has been happening to mine. Weirdly enough mine is a 92X made in Tennessee, but I replaced the hammer with the Match hammer which are made in Italy.

Hey Ernest, sorry for the off topic comment, but I might potentially be having problems with my 92G LTT compact. I only got it a few weeks ago and put less than 100 rounds through it so far and I'm having some pretty serious wear on the inside of the slide. I was hoping maybe I could shoot you some pics and you judge if I've got something going wrong with my gun. I generally don't care about wear on my guns but I feel like this is quite a bit more than expected for such a low round count. Thanks for any help you can give if you see this.

I've been bingeing your videos Ernest and learning a lot, thanks! I'm a 1911 guy and looking at getting a good 9mm, and train with a DA/SA decocker. I almost went with a CZ-75, then a Sig or HK, still may, but you've got me interested in a Beretta. Between the 92 and the PX4 full size, why would I choose one over the other? Is the PX4 meant by Beretta to replace the 92, or are they different branches? The rotating barrel appeals to me. I'm sure there are a lot of caveats when saying one is better than the other, but is one of theses better? Thanks!

The OP trigger bar takes out more overtravel and shortens reset. The Wilson Bar is a great part, the LTT bars does a few more things.
