The engineers did a good job in budgeting the timeline. They paved the way for incase if someone chooses not to show up for work. If someone chooses not to show up for work, and the supervisor has to drag the worker into the office trailer and write the worker up for the no-show and sometimes has to put an ad in the paper to get someone that WILL show up on time. When you have to do that, you end up having some down time and that would eat away at your project schedule. So for TOD (Transit Oriented Development) work or building a transit route, it's always best to budget enough time so you don't have to worry about interrupting your schedule you have promised to the public.

I used to take the Eglinton bus in Scarborough every day from 2001 to 2004 when I was in high school but I haven't lived in Toronto since 2006 now. Sucks that I won't get to ride this new train since I live so far away.

They should have added another under ground portal west of the east don river bridge to bypass the approaching sloping terrain and then pop back out at the Victoria Park Ave. (O'Connor stop).

Nice, but air pollution is not clear, it's bad because of too much higher buildings, condos, etc in Toronto. I used to live in 80's and 90's and air pollution was just clear without condos and things.

They will have their own dedicated signals, separate from the regular traffic signals. The LRT will have priority over other traffic. It will be the same system as on St. Clair. Also, they have a dedicated right of way. No other traffic in their lanes.
