I think these are a "gateway drug" into the E_GO ecosystem - first the Mini Bike - then a trimmer, next a blower, afterwhich you're looking at ride on mowers - that's their E(GO)VIL PLAN! And I like it!....

I just got their LM2135E, so far I've only just trimmed the lawn, but it feels it can handle mowing just like a gas powered mower would. For my needs this is perfect, because it is quieter and you can store it vertically, takes way less space than gas powered. I now feel encouraged to buy other tools too, the mower feels solid even if it's all made of plastic, but definitely not a toy. I've seen the pro version of the lawnmower and it is a step up, as it's made of metal, it's also comparatively, extremely heavy. And just, too much for what I need.

I manage an ace hardware and I got one of these in. Yes I test drove it, yes it’s fast. I weigh 185 lbs. it’s peppy and sport mode is awesome. Came with 2 7.5 AH batteries and dual charger; 1999.99 + tax. I’d say it’s worth it. Of course I didn’t ride it on bumps and grass and mud, I ride it on pavement.

Im a 13 year old and I just found out about these. I usually bike to my friends house and it takes 20 minutes or less, these look so cool since I don’t have my driving license yet. I also have a little motorcycle that can go 20 mph but I might sell it and get this since mine isn’t street legal

I live in Northern Nevada, and it is real very mountainous. Every electric bike, scooter or motorcycle for off-road riding, run out of power quickly. I would love to see off-road electric bikes tested in true off-road mountainous riding.

I see that EGO also has a smaller bike that looks much more lightweight and modern. It seems like it’s going for kids that are about 5-8 years old, like a 50cc MX bike. Very cool!

I've owned the self propelled mower, self stringing trimmer, hedge trimmer, and leaf blower for three years now and I have absolutely no complaints. Haven't had any issues with batteries or tools except when it's extremely hot, the mower can overheat and it shuts down. I just started mowing in the evenings and haven't had a problem since. But I also live in the suburbs.

Hold off on buying one. I purchased one for my sons in May and its having electrical issues (not modified). Ego wants me to take to a repair center that has never worked on one to see if they can diagnosis the issue. Sorry, for this price and it being 3 months old REPLACE IT EGO. Step up and do the correct thing on your defective unit.

I need someone to test this on really steep hills. I have 1000 watt e-bikes peak 2000 and I want more on long steep hills. 200 + lbs is pretty heavy too. UP to 20 miles just doesn’t cut it for a 3-4 hour ride out in the hills . I ride a 22 year old Yamaha xt225 that sips fuel and doesn’t weigh much more. 220 km range on 2 a gallon tank . I will keep looking and riding what I have.

What does two 7.5 ah batteries mean? What voltage? 15 or even 22 ah is very little for something 200 lbs if those batteries are Under 72 volts. Why not just get a regular electric fat tire bike in a moped style? Under 100 lbs with a 40-80 mile range.
