Very useful video and clear presentation. I've been using EGO tools and lawn mower for over 2 years as a self employed gardener and the weight saving on the wrists and arms especially for hedge trimming will be a godsend.

If using a wippersnipper with the backpack, can you clip the tool to the backpack to take all the weight of the unit?

Nice gear - this 56 Volt QUALITY gear and Tools are truly the way to go. I am a complete petrol head and just never realised how good this EGO Power System is - I am a total convert and true believer. Its the way of the future - simple, and Battery Power is the way to go - Cars now with TESLA, Hybrids every where - and the quickest Exotics Cars on Earth are all Battery Powerd - its come a long way in the past 5 years. The key here is NOT to buy cheap rubbish - lower voltage crap !... You get what you pay for and EGO from my research is simply the BEST money can buy.

Can you just plug in the cable directly to the tool and have just the single battery that currently being used, on your backpack?

My only question is how heavy is the link adapter compared to the 2.5 battery. As a female, i would like which ever is lighter

How does it work for left handers as the cable comes out the right side of the back pack? Been trying to see find this answer, I've only found people complaining about the lead blower backpack which is only right handed.

I'm left handed...BUT...the back pack and the back pack mounted "wand" is not a problem. The movements are very simple, back and forth, movements. There's a MAJOR advantage of using the 7.5 Battery. It lasts, for me, as long as there is work to be done..and I STILL have a lot of power left. Trying to wield the 7.5 on the standard blower...would RUIN your wrist.
