Can the commercial backpack be plugged into the power station?

Yes, I see the plug port in the front of the charger...It looks like it uses it's own plug...So just plug the Commercial battery backpack plug (the one that goes into the tools)...and that's it's charging cord, and output cord...crazy

Skil is owned by Chevron who owns Ego. Skil is cheaper but uses the same motor and battery construction although limited to a 40v 5ah battery at this point.

If you have to work for several hours it is better to buy 10 Ah batteries or use this battery backpack? Is it not too heavy? For the STX 3800 model is this battery backpack better or the smaller model BAX 1300?

I think the backpack is 28 Ah. Four 7.5 batteries approximately, or three tens. It’s hard to get the 10 Ah in the States. I was looking to take four backpack batteries and plug it into the Ego Nexus inverter with the adapter to get 112 Ah to run my house in a black out. Just a thought.

@@paedahe4975 I just bought the STX 3800 brushcutter and I managed to buy the two 10 AH batteries from the distributor in Italy .... I can say the system is perfect !!!! I can work for hours without any interruption ....

A A Thanks. I will keep you posted after I add four 28 Ah backpack batteries to the Ego generator/inverter. Will cost about $6000 to get 112 Ah of power. Or I could spend $2500 to get four 10Ah and only get 40Ah total. These batteries aren’t cheep.

You probably want to be particular about how you secure the cable, but I have been using an ego battery converter, 3D printed, mounted where the bottle holder normally goes on my daily driver bike for a couple years now. TSDZ2 mid drive motor.
