I tried this and they turned out delicious!! I’m a vegetarian so I used vegetarian minced meat and they turned out like the real deal. Satisfied all my hawawshi cravings!! Thank you!

I'm in Canada and went to an Egyptian festival last weekend where I tried hawashi for the first time, loved it! Now I can try making it, thank you!

You need to indicate the several spices more clearly ( on separate bowls) and maybe tell how many spices are involved (7?). Show close ups of spices and amounts.
@dennisluz64539 ай бұрын
Did you specify teaspoon amounts of spices? Please get rid of background music as it interferes with your narrative. Also to make things a lot easier why not just buy some pita bread instead of the trouble of making dough. Should taste just as good.
@MsFafe19 ай бұрын
@@dennisluz6453 hi thanks for your feedback The description section has exact amounts of all ingredients in this recipe if you open it you will see Additionally this is an alexandrian hawawshi recipe which is made with homemade dough not pita. If you would like to make with pita feel free to try that

The dough is so soft, we haven't eaten hawawshi in years we felt like we were back in Egypt. Jazakum Allhu Khairan. This one is going in my recipe book!

What is in mixed spice. I thought there would be cumin in this recipe
@naaniinthekitchen275910 ай бұрын
Hi, the mixed spice ( baharat) you can find at many middle eastern grocery store. It's usually contains cumin. Otherwise there should be plenty of recipes online on how to make it at home if you can't fine it in store. Thanks 😊

u have complicated Hawawshi too much, I prefer Cairo Hawawshi where it`s simple ingredients and lovely whole wheat regular Egyptian bread, not croissant dough.
