Articulation is key. Kyle seems to be the type of judge that appreciates the sound and the annunciation of the lyrics and you can’t exactly “kill it” if you only have one. In this case it really only had melody, which is nice, but when you’re trying to determine the skill of the actual artist you need to be able to understand them as well.
