Wow I came across this band reading the comment on a dance gavin dance video. I'm so glad I checked this band out. Their amazing!! Awesome vocals. At the beginning I heard what sounded like a little bit of Johnny Craig. Anyway these guys are awesome!!!!

I listen to a lot of songs that open my mind. Songs that shift my perspective, songs that clear up confusion and, bring into focus something outside of my self. This song however tears down walls around my heart. It opens me up to a connection with something holy and pure. thank you guys this song has brought tears to my eyes time and time again.

This is one of the best songs in your discography. Absolutely transcendent. You guys deserve every ounce of success, it’s simply criminal any other way.

The second half of this song is so incredible, I get goosebumps every time. The first half is great still, 9/10 dont get me wrong, theres just something about the "I will comfort you (We can save each other)" bit that I just adore Plus the "ah"s?? So much raw emotion is behind it! You do that a lot in your music, that and repeated phrases/chants ("Destroy, rebuild" in Houses Mvmt 3 and "Conjure me/Cast a circle/Rouse my soul/Say my name" in The Familiar and even "Naraka" from Ancient Temperament) and it has so much POWER behind it and it makes the listener just FEEL and it is so fucking good

I always look for the providence of circumstance in my daily life and hearing this (amazing) song certainly falls into that category in my life at the moment. I went on to the fan page of a band, the members of which I was/am friends with and went to school with, made a short comment and had someone I never met add me as a FB friend, after a short rant I made he sent me a link to this song and the words, the voice, the sound coalesced into something that (coupled to the providence of random events that could not have happened any other way or I would have not heard the song at such a critical moment) border on a moment of enlightenment. One simple holy moment of silence after the song where I just marveled at everything as though everything was as is it supposed to be and that something good was beginning or has begun. So thanks Eidola and Jacob Martinez for being lights in dark times.

you guys are one of the few original bands on the post-hardcore/experimental genre. Compositinally everything is jaw-dropping and the vocal are incredible, especially the jim morrison-esque baritone on Bastard's Fire. I hadn't heard of you until will swan signed you and i think its great what you and the rest of blue swan are doing for for the music scene If you can try to make it down to florida

Love, Love, Love LOVE this band, there are very few bands these days that assemble and execute such perfect music. In a dim world of autotune and thoughtless, soulless music, Eidola is the brilliant sunshine. Thank you... More please :) And Toronto better be on that tour of yours ;P
