The foremost pillar of dhyana is asana. There is no meditation without proper asana. There are eight aspects of a correct posture. The first aspect is to sit cross-legged. It is possible that you cannot sit in a padma asana or siddha asana or cannot sit on the floor. But even if you cannot sit on the floor, make sure you sit cross-legged on the chair. When we sit cross-legged, we learn to control our apana vayu (downward flowing energy). It is important to sit cross-legged on floor to control our apana vayu. The second aspect of posture is that your back must be straight. If you are sitting on a chair, you must sit with your back straight. If needed, you can put a cushion behind your back so that you can sit straight. For people who cannot sit on the floor for too long can sit on a pillow or a cushion on the floor. The cushion will help you to keep your back straight.
If you have to meditate correctly, you need to rise above your body. You need to have a correct posture.

1. Pith sidhi.. 2. Hat jorja karke baitjo/cosmic mudra. 3. Kandhe thik.. 4. Neck sidha.. 5. Hoot halke se touch kar ke rakho.. consciously. 6. Dant halka sa touch kar rahe hoo. 7. Jiva upar talu par hona chahiye. 8. Dristi..eye.. sthir hona chahiye. 9. Keep halke se smile... time mat thik karo..sankalp leke mat baitho..time ki... usse age jane ke liye.. keep smile.

And by hearing all of it.. Any man-on-the-street will say ... Mujhse na ho paega ..😂 Sorry .. I love swami... But I feel many information (like this one) he gives is utterly unnecessary.. and way too perfection-oriented(than necessary) .

@@anoridinaryhumanbeing70 well start meditation and do for 2-3 month then come back again ok! This is not for beginner who meditate for 10-20 min but for those who meditate for 1-2 hours or more, . Then posture matters a lot! And this is my experience.

@gaming guru Not only 1-2 hours but people who try for 10-15 mins also,needs to follow these points.Otherwise they can NEVER be consistent.

🙏 Pranam Swamiji , thanks for enlightening us . As per my experience , I found that if there is no tension in the body it's easy to meditate . To start with one should do some stretching exercises , Surya Namaskar and some yoga asanas and finally meditation will happen better.

That last comment on the alarm clock is so true. Many times it happen that I feel like "kl to bj gya tha ab tk, aaj kya ho gya? Ek Baar dekhlu kya khi ghadi kharab ho gayi ho aur Mai din bhar yhi baitha reh jau!!" LoL :p
