Maybe one of the most important lessons, & repeated teachings, for me. I have been meditating for over 40 years, usually sitting on the floor. Now, at 73 years old (i Thank God daily!), i have spinal arthritis & my legs are not happy when i am sitting on the floor meditating for my usual twice daily 45minutes, …, or 10mins. To the chair I must go. The chair you show is perfect but hard to get … even online in the USA here. Most have a slant back which I don’t like. Straight back is for me. I will keep searching. If necessary i will have some wood crafter make one for me. Thank you again.

Could you please explain the step by step process in meditation? How to start ? What to focus?
@hartonij2 жыл бұрын
Firstly you pick one of the posture which is most comfortable for you and then you just need to focus on your breath,pay attention to your nose hole as you breathe in and breathe out,normally your mind will start wandering after few breaths but you need to pull it back to your breath,keep focusing on your breath even though your mind can be chaotic but the purpose of meditation is to gather your scattered mind to become one.Good luck in your meditation and stay consistent because that is one of the key to be successful in your meditation.

Meditation refers to a set of techniques to enhance attention, emotional awareness, kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and mental calmness even in difficult situations. Some people find that regular meditation practice helps them be kind to themselves and more caring towards others.
