There are so many beautiful moments in this video watching the Dalai Lama, and also the incredible translation by Thupten Linpa. Around 50 mins, DL talks for some length of time, 15 mins plus. I love the way he points his finger at us, the crowd, like we are being given a bit of ticking off but kindness and humour are always always present; I also feel like I'm being read a really important bedtime story with intermittent giggles, followed by more finger pointing. The connection with Thupten is so beautiful and sweet at times, and Thupten's translation is just remarkable at times, not just his eloquence and accuracy, but his memory! What a way to present such wonderful teachings that we should all take to heart and try to practice every day.

it is a short simple text of mind transformation, but Guru HHDL effortlessly expound a complete discourse of buddhadharma, ... sooo good, completely satisfying. actually i prefer HHDL give his discourse in his simple english, i feel his english is good enough and somehow his speech has better effect on my mind. ... along the way, his translator can help input words, but nothing like HHDL himself, his oral flow of dharma in simple english is clear and incisive. still, good job by geshe Jinpa, grateful and many tks to the organisers.

how in the world did eastern world (India) of 2500 years ago can have such good insight of what reality and universe is about. It was only 100 years ago when QM suggested reality can be more of what we can see. Brain and Mind is not the same thing. People always comment at the end saying Namaste why? coz it's Hindi but in Tibetan usually they say Tashi Delek at the beginning and the end.

Tara, "Tashi Delek" (ta.she delay)means "Happy Rebirth" or "Have a great day." and it is usually said upon meeting someone. When you leave you say " Kali sho" and they reply " Kali Pe (pay)". Which means "Go slowly" or "Take it easy." and "Kali Pe" is like saying " Going as you say." or "You too!" I hope I didn't get the order Kali sho and Kali pe mixed up. I haven't spoken Tibetan in so long I just forget. 74 now and 4 tiny strokes, so please forgive if I did. Feel free to correct me, ok? _/\_ There are Tibetan classes available online and they are all very good and not horribly expensive, if you are interested.

As per physicists on U tube everything consists of matter and in the final sense its all vibrations which matter is .These vibrations are identified by our sensory organs eyes/ears/nose/tongue/body and brain by different frequencies levels it is conveyed too only. The sensory organs identify what each frequency level it has received through consciousness .For instance the light frequency is identified by the eye consciousness, and the sound by the consciousness in the ears so on and so forth. It is one consciousness level which operates at each sensory organ. If the consciousness prevailing in the eye is not operating due to past karma the being is considered blind.
