I'm gonna disagree with you on the 0.1mm actuation and all that being a gimmik. In specific games like valorant, gun accuracy is dependent on you standing still, so the key releasing the millisecond your finger starts moving up, rather then waiting until the key fully resets, has a HUGE impact on movement and how quickly you can get an accurate shot out. So for those gamers, getting a keyboard with this technology for just $65 vs $180 wootings, apex pros, could be a game cchanger. If the latency and rapid trigger is up to par with those keyboards.

Good perspective, and maybe on that finite spectrum it truly feels better for some people. For me I don't notice anything distinct - but that's just me, and I'm not an overly competitive player. I get it in theory though, just doesn't translate for me personally as it does for you as a real game changer. (At least yet...I'll kick it around and swap back and forth...maybe it will have that monitor effect where you go from 240 to 60 and can tell what you previously couldn't really tell, you know?)

The vaseline bit made me laugh 😂 I've never used a hall effect keyboard switch before. Interesting. Always wanted to try something like a Topre or other brand that uses an electrocapacitive switch.

You know, mag he switches don’t have a very different feel. And really at the end of the day (for now) it feels like more money for the same. Maybe I need more time to become a believer in why mag switches should be > good ol regular mech switches. That being said, time to go reorder a 5 gallon bucket of Vaseline for my chapped lips

@@EightSixMatt You know as crazy as the world is now, I'm not sure someone with that much vaseline on their face would even get noticed.... oh no they definitely would 🤣 Speaking of switches, I switched out my Gat Blacks to some silent switches manufactured by Haimu. I'm really liking them.

@@KnoxAgain shoot me a link, the only silents I really knew of were the MX silents I used in a Corsair kb and those really grew on me. Still audible but only 'just so' and I ended up loving those.

Man, do all hall effect key switches seem a little slow to reset back up? Maybe I've been using Cherry Browns for too long but it seems like all the new HE switches just dont stick to my finger very well when im doing quick key presses. Including the Magnet Jades

Thanks. I got an open box for $34. ... I also have a Wooting Two HE and a custom GMMK 3 HE... but I like inexpensive options.
