*”Do not fear having no friends. Fear having bad friends”* ~My life taught lesson
@algatone1952

Should it not be „ Don‘t fear at all because it is just the cosmic dance“? It is always change, one time you will have bad friends, one time good friends, than another time you won‘t have friends at all. But all of this are ok, as long as you follow the flow of change. One friend could be good and get a bad friend in future or vis versa. This is not in our control. But in our control is how we react to it. Do we continue getting in contact with people who are giving us pain?

Like it's saying to me not to display my full potential and get to a higher place in life. But at the same time there is a great cost of maintaining the ego when in high position in life, like the one offered to the general in this video and there is a sought of beauty I think with living simply.

I have found the following practice helpful " pick a sound(fan whirring, binaural beats birds chirping, your choice) and fixate all your conscious attention on it. That way your mind would not have enough conscious attention to create thought. Mind would try to pull you back into thought. Just ignore it and keep you attention glued on the sound."
@hassanraza-zc5rp
@hassanraza-zc5rp Жыл бұрын
@M. Scott Most of the internal negativity comes from mind. when you withdraw attention away from it and place it on something else (sense perception in this case) the negative thoughts start losing their momentum. eventually you end up in a place where these thoughts no longer have the stregth to pull you around, in essence liberating you from your mind. this is similiar to the peaceful state mentioned in the video.
@hassanraza-zc5rp
@hassanraza-zc5rp Жыл бұрын
@M. Scott Sure the thoughts return, but they no longer have the same stregth to pull your attention towards them. if you can devote 10-15 minutes to this practice daily, eventually these thoughts would get weaker and weaker to the point that they would no longer be a bothersome presence. furthermore one can also incorporate certain "micro habits" in their daily schedule, like being conscious of what you "see and hear" on the way to office, giving your full attention to the taste of your afternoon coffee etc. i speak from personal experience.

This video put a smile on my face without effort, just as the sun does every morning (and when i am grateful about it), and teaches that there is no right or wrong, only things that are good for people and others that are better for nature and animals; it reminds me that the existence ends, and so i feel my life more before it's over (but not over for our souls). What is that is bad in a common sense of perceiving is good for playfulness and spirituality :)

Thank you for this enlightening video on Zhuangzi, the carefree philosopher. His perspective on life is truly refreshing and thought-provoking. The way he breaks through conventions and fixed views to see the world in his unique way is inspiring. His teachings remind us to embrace the flow of life, see the beauty in the ordinary, and find usefulness in what seems useless. This video is a great reminder not to take life too seriously and to live spontaneously, free from constraining dogmatic rules. I particularly loved the story of Zhuangzi choosing to remain an 'ordinary turtle', valuing his peace and freedom over power and prestige. It's a lesson many of us could benefit from in our modern, fast-paced world. Keep up the great work!

Thank heaven my longtime interest in oriental philosophies had evolved to Taoism, to concept of Who Way and the usefullness of uselessness. I agree on almost everything. Symmetry, however, is one characteristic that is NOT just a human beauty standard. Many animals choose mates based off symmetry of features, as it infers more stable genetic code to potential mates (per recent studies on the matter). Think of bird color patterns on their crests. The males have bright symmetrical ones that stick out to every animal, including predators. But thus, the risk they take is the same gamble that makes them a desirable father to female birds young- his confidently displayed symmetrical features.

Cultural traditions are interesting. We all have our own, and occasionally, you hear about elders clinging rigidly to them. My neighbour cuts her branches overhanging her neighbours property even though the convention is that they cut them. That's what her parents did. The 30 odd year old Asian girls I work with leave home to get away from their tyrannical father. The plain looking girl being stuck there. My father pointing out mine and my sisters daughters for being childless, so I had to point out his grandson...

Don't let the past you now discovered take away the joy you have in the present or stop you from moving forward into the future. Life will move on with or without your actions. It's not a tireless run if you keep close with your loved ones and go in a slow pace at your own want. Take the now and after as a stroll in the park with your family rob. Don't be left behind on something already gone. There's no one to blame. Never will I know someone's intent or own self actualization. Value your own self. Be whatever it is you want. Doesn't matter but now .

As an individual who has followed the Einzelgänger channel on KZbin, I must express my concerns and criticisms about the content and approach presented. While the channel may have gained popularity among certain viewers, I find several aspects that make it difficult for me to fully engage and appreciate the content. Here are my personal critiques: 1. Lack of Originality: One of the most significant issues I have with Einzelgänger is the lack of originality in the content. Many of the videos seem to be regurgitations of existing philosophical ideas and concepts without offering any fresh perspectives or innovative interpretations. It feels like a compilation of information that can easily be found elsewhere without the added value of unique insights. 2. Repetitive Themes: I find that the channel often fixates on a few specific themes and fails to diversify its content. This repetition becomes monotonous and limits the potential for exploring a wider range of ideas and perspectives. It feels like I'm watching variations of the same video over and over again, which quickly diminishes my interest and engagement. 3. Lack of Nuance: Einzelgänger tends to present complex philosophical concepts in a simplified and sometimes reductionist manner. This approach fails to capture the nuance and depth of these ideas, leaving viewers with an incomplete understanding. The oversimplification can be misleading and prevent meaningful exploration and critical thinking about the subjects at hand. 4. Absence of Diverse Perspectives: The channel's content often seems to be presented from a single perspective, lacking the inclusion of diverse voices and alternative viewpoints. This narrow focus limits the opportunity for viewers to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the topics discussed. The absence of diverse perspectives can hinder intellectual growth and hinder the exploration of different schools of thought. 5. Superficial Analysis: I often find the analysis presented on Einzelgänger to be superficial and lacking in-depth examination. While some philosophical concepts require careful consideration and examination of different interpretations, the channel tends to skim the surface and fails to delve into the complexities and intricacies that make these ideas truly fascinating. 6. Overreliance on Dramatic Delivery: The channel's presentation style often leans towards sensationalism and dramatic delivery, which can be off-putting for viewers seeking a more thoughtful and measured approach to philosophical discussions. This emphasis on creating intrigue and drama detracts from the substance of the content and can come across as gimmicky rather than genuinely insightful. While the Einzelgänger channel has garnered a substantial following, I personally find it lacking in originality, depth, and diverse perspectives. The repetitive nature of the content and the superficial analysis prevent me from fully engaging with the channel's videos. I believe there is room for improvement in offering more nuanced discussions, exploring a wider range of topics, and embracing a more balanced and less sensationalistic approach to philosophical content.

wuwei無為 in old dead Chinese text LAOZI meant perfect skill that comes from serious constant focused practising and TRAINING that has been prepared , it is by no mean Do Nothing in all sense, Wuwei is a state where you can respond to situation like First nature as if You Are Coping Nothing , Wuwei is just another term of brofesssionalism , here goes the original text 是謂早服 重積德則無不克 ,words to words in english it says "Get Ready and Nothing is Unmanageable", this line was found in all versions of Laozi ,I have been reading laozi and plato since teen , and I am teaching my children , the Basic idea of laozi is to work like the Sun that rises everyday and never find yourself idle 夫道周行而不殆 , 道生一 一生二 二生三 三生萬, that was probably why there was never the idea of holiday in china , life is tough and you can only bexome relaxed once you master your role
