eJay Clubworld for PlayStation 2 is a consolised take on Empire Interactive's successful series of eJay electronic music-making products. Rather than focusing on a single style of music as the original eJay titles did, eJay Clubworld offers you the opportunity to compose electronic music in a variety of different genres.

This is literally the first DAW I ever used. I then progressed to Fruity Loops on PC (Now FL Studio) What a classic !! Thanks for posting this video.

I've used professional music programs but they all feel like work. eJay Clubworld was a fun way to play at making music, and even their own PC versions were overly complicated. This game and a couple others is the only reason I still own a PS2 just for the nostalgia, not that I use it much anymore, but might as well keep it, they don't sell for much anyway.

me was product manager and brand manager of eJay Clubworld. I was very into the game design and not wanting to emulating a mouse with the pad.... so if you don't like the controls. blame me. :D

I think you did a fine job under the circumstances! Having used the eJay software on PC as well as trying this out, I was impressed how close the console version got to the capabilities of the home computer version without just being a straight port.

The PC versions of the software was literally easy, just Drag and Drop the samples. This is the sacrifice they have to make to convert eJay to consoles? I love eJay.

Dam, I spent some hours/days on this! Trying to find a way to play on ps5! Though at the time it would constantly crash if you had to many loops running at the same time! Not to mention the save disc!

Is there a way to transfer our beats from ps2 to a computer using ejay?

Unfortunately not to my knowledge. About all you can do is polish up your mix to your liking on the PS2, then hook up an audio cable between the PS2 and some sort of recording device and record it that way. (Or just video capture and extract the audio!) There's no direct export function.

PCSX2 is supposed to be pretty good these days. I haven't tried it myself but might be worth a go. If you want something similar, you may also want to try and seek out the old eJay titles for PC. No idea if they'd work on modern Windows systems but you may be able to get them up and running in a virtual machine or something if not.
