Thank you for sharing the recipe. Love the background kirtan as well. By any chance, can you share the kirtan link, if available?

Hare Krsna, that is my voice recorded by someone during a home program. I can use it without having to be worried about copyright issues, its safer than using anyone elses kirtan. Do not have a link for it as its a saved audio

Hare krishna mata ji. Can we use all these vegetables stuff in ekdashi. Actually I m new to fasting so doesn't know what do eat and what not to eat . Kindly guide
@Krsnatarian4 жыл бұрын
Hare Krsna , yes you can use all what I have used in the recipe for ekadashi. There are different standards in following eladashu. One nirjala Second only fruits and milk Third is by taking some foodstuffs which aren't grains. Srila Prabhupada has mentioned no grains, beans, legumes, pulses, cereals on Ekadashi. Whenever you want to check what you can use in ekadashi just check botanical geneology of the item you will understand then. Thankyou for watching

Hare Krsna mataji, you can use it there is no taboo about it. Just because some dont prefer to doesnt make it excluded. Patta gobhi is not a grain. You can look at its botanical genology. I have mentioned here before too on ekadashi levels of fasting, you can check it. Hare Krsna

@@Krsnatarian jai shree krishna mata ji ,your recipe is good but according to vedas Onion, garlic, brinjal, mushrooms, leek, shallot, etc. are considered as taamsik vegetables. So they are avoided. Cabbage, cauliflower, capsicum, and few other vegetables are also avoided due to their strong, pungent or salty taste.
@Krsnatarian4 жыл бұрын
@@pritikavashistha1566 Hare Krsna, I havent come across that information of cauliflower or capsicum yet because Srila Prabhupada never mentioned it nor I heard it in any reference of Puranas. Most importantly Srila Prabhupada never asked us to avoid it. Yes i do know about leek mushrooms because leek shallots they all belong to the same family of onion. My recipes are free from onion garlic and mushrooms, i have an individual video in the playlist of introduction to Krsnatarian on why to avoid it. I have heard about brinjal too but there are no puranic story on it being remnant of cows flesh like onion and garlic. More so seeing the current time of Kaliyuga where there is impurity in each and everything including even sugar and other things which we supposedly consider vegetarian Srila Prabhupada gave us a lot of concession because he is an acharya. Thankyou for your input

@@pritikavashistha1566 areh baapre, when you stated something maine bus aapko reply kia. I didnt mean any offense, I only mentioned that the acharya who belongs to one of the bonafide sampradayas Brahma Madhava Gaudiya Sampradaya hasn't mentioned anything to not eat cauliflower or capsicum as its not my personal belief, its the words of the revealed scriptures. Thankyou and Krsna bless you too. Hare Krsna😉
