@@wren5413 TO keep this short, thats kind of the point, she is a fundamentals assassin who you should never be caught alone against, if you do, and she is equal or ahead, you're probably fucked. In teamfights she struggles cause about 1/3 of her dmg comes from passive who can only hit 1 target at a time.

@@OldandAbandonedHarcorte Being an assassin does not validate having a Malphite ult with a 14 second cooldown in a class with access to so much AH that she can get it down to 6 seconds in the late game. It actually makes it way worse. Literally every assassin is good at catching people who are alone but Naafiri is the only one that literally invalidates entire classes of champions. Like what the hell are you supposed to do with a mage or marksman when the assassin outranges you?

@@wren5413 first of all, naafiri does not outrange most champions, her q has average range and slow projectile speed. Outside of that all naafiri can do is go in, with a highly telegraphed engage. Like the other person said, what you should be doing as a squishy ranged dps class is hiding behind your team so they can tank naafiris damage, and then your team can counterattack and kill her. If she has built tankidr she won't be able to really hurt your tanks, and if she has built full damage she will pop like a balloon. Naafiri has real exploitable weaknesses,she has awful early game which is why you see so many people snowballing her and destroying games in low rank, where she can reach that late game. But early she is a melee champion with low slow damage, very little healing and almost no defensive mobility besides a very short dash on an average cooldown. Also lacking any cc of any kind in her base kit beyond the short slow on her w. People somehow dont seem to understand you just wait for her to w, then use your movement? Like yeah you're gonna take some damage, but her q and e have long enough cast times she that she wouldn't be able to hit you with both that quickly after her w animation quickly. This only becomes a problem once she has seryldas, which is 2nd item at the earliest. Also a lot of mages/marksmen have self peel tools that can be very effective against a naafiri, see syndra E, varus ult, vayne E, ahri can lead her E Since packmates are untargetable until they hit something during her W,Veigar can stand in his own cage, etc Theres a lot you can do with that 1 second wind up plus travel time if you think fast. And sure naafiri is really strong against squishys who have no cc, but is that not the point of an assassin? Sure naafiri has a significantly lower skill floor, but as a lucian are you really gonna be able to consistently outplay a good zed, talon, leblanc, rengar,kha'zix or katarina who catches you alone? Obviously you can sometimes but consistently the answer is typically no,at least naafiri has to hit mid to late game before she really becomes a threat, her movement remains limited and primarily offensive unlike the other examples I listed who can get in and get out with resets or leblanc W , and if you're not behind, you just need to dodge one of her daggers to avoid a good chunk of her damage, in and out of team fights.

I think it would be a cool concept if they continued with Mundo and Ekkos interaction to the point they figure out Mundo isn't "Immune" to time travel, he just goes where pleases even if that's into another time line with Ekko. Of course without Mundo knowing or even thinking about Ekkos time travel. He just kinda gets sucked into it.

About Ekko rewinding in the cinematic and the question about the ultimate healing is a matter of when Ekko rewinds time, he also rewinds the injury but the cognitive part of his brain still have the memory of the pain settled on his nervous system and it takes time for it to process he isn't injuried anymore. I've been away from League for a long time but that's the impression it gives me.

​@@luckas221a Kinda like that. Time Travel is a can of worms that is very complex if the writter didn't set in stone very specific rules for the scenario. The cinematic shows Ekko returning to a fixed point in time: The start of the fight against that mechanical menace, so that is probably the point where he anchored a nexus that he can return to square one of the fight. Every pull of the Z-Drive makes him return to that point where both combatents are at their peak condition physically, but while the chemtech monstrosity goes back to square one both physically and mentally, Ekko, despite rewind his injuries back, still need to have his cognition from said rewind intact from the point he got injuried, so while his body is back to a "prime condition", the nervous system still have the damage inprinted his subconsciousness. An easier example of this case would be if Ekko got a paper cut and used the Z-Drive to rewind it so he doesn't have the cut anymore, the injury is healed but he would probably still have the feeling of the sting from the cut.

And his mohawk makes more sense for me than his dreads since League version seems to enjoy rock music, I mean... it's literally his dance how he pretends to perform on a stage. that sells it to me. not saying dreadlock Ekko is bad. It fits the Arcane character more.

I don't think it's confirmed Ekko is an orphan in Arcane. He could very well have parents as he does in canon lore and only works in Benzo's shop to maybe earn some extra income for the home. The important thing with his parents, after all, is that they are pretty much never around and working in the factory.

If they ever decide to make Arcane fully canon and retcon everything else, I would really really hate it if they changed his lore, especially Lullaby, I was born and have spend most of my life in Venezuela and my mom worked incredibly hard after she divorced my dad to make sure me and my sister always had everything we needed, I distinctly remember that whenever we had dinner or pretty much anything she would always give us way more than what she had, so reading about how ekko's parents would give up their own health and well being just to give their kid a tasty dessert really hit close to home

too add i think ekko doesnt keep his injuries he keeps the feeling of them. I.E. his brain remembers being injured so he still feels the pain even though physically he is fine. Phantom pain is the closest thing i can think of.

I'm sad and mad that they've gone on record to say that they're doing more cinematics and cutting color stories. You can do so much more with text than visuals in a lot of cases, and color stories being from the perspective of either the character or the people who come across the character were really good nuggets of immersion.

About Convergence, my favorite thing is actually from the comics, and how it sorta builds a parallel with Viktor: both of them are fixated in not letting mistakes happens, ever. Also Viktor apparently knows what the Z-Drive is and that Ekko can time travel, he just doesn't care lol (With Mundo, that would be two characters who dont care about Ekkos ability. Ekko has been my favorite champion for a long time. I love his LoL lore and his Arcane lore. I love all his skins. He is just one of the coolest characters in League, imo. Ekko’s probably my favourite assassin (as someone who mains support and only plays carries in ARAM), and I was surprised to find out there’s a sizeable chunk of the LOL community who don’t like gameplay (specially his ultimate). People say it’s unfair that an assassin has a free escape, but assassins are slippery and Ekko’s not the only one with an escape option (Evelynn is another one just off the top of my head), and if he burns R as an escape he misses out on a big chunk of damage. His combo is also quite predictable, so you can lock him down so he can’t ult out and just burst him then. His ability to manipulate time is also well incorporated into all of his abilities. Looking forward to seeing what you have to say in the video :)

18:25 Bro, she is 3 levels ahead of you, has 4 items, and you have little to no defensive stats from items, no Duh she is shredding the hell outta you Ekko is great in every way that matters and im so glad he has become a mainstay champion, unlike naafiri and vex who will likely only ever exist in league/wild rift and maybe make cameo appearances in other games, They are genuinely the only reason I still play league at this point. Anyway, Ekko has a heart of gold but has to struggle and it's not impossible to see how he could be corrupted slowly like as is seen in convergance (Even though that game has a laundry list of problems) I don't play LoR so i'm biased, but I personally really prefer league ekko's voice actor as he just sells him a lot better to me. Also Ekko's theme is up there in terms of absolutely god tier themes. One of the best ones especially from leagues earlier days. I also adore kled's theme and hope you talk abt it in his CCR.
