I’m from the Netherlands, went to dortmund against leverkusen once. It is just a different world, such a great ambiance and amazing fans. The respect between supporters of dortmund and leverkusen was just unreal. I wish it would be the same in NL.

Hmm. The referee took Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim players off and they played kickabout when they came back out because of a banner insulting a billionaire bankrolling a football club. But at the same time when players were racially abused, referees and teams did nothing. This is a pretence of integrity, it's not genuine and it's disturbingly shallow.

I'm not a football fan by any means, but I've found myself watching videos of clips like this, and to see such a close-knit community of players at the highest level of their career is so heartwarming. There isn't enough of this integrity in our game. Players from other leagues should learn something from this. There is so much money in the game now that it's win at all costs. I would feel better winning fairly, than not winning at all. I can't think of a single instance of fair play like this in the Premiership in the last 20 years. Bravo to the Bundesliga and all of the players involved..
