My last fight in Clarksville Tennessee a smaller promotion didn't have the pre fight promotion but I didn't know anything about my opponent but his wife couldn't make the show and he said she wanted to see who he was fighting so we did a little face off picture for her. The best and most underrated part of the sport. Seeing two warriors give each other kindness and respect after just exchanging in a physical war is an excellent example of the honor prevalent in the sport. These moments in seem to mean more in MMA than any other sport I think. The handshakes/hugs seem to just be treated as a formality in other sports.
