So many people still think it's a dangerous war zone. I'll defo do some more riding around videos. We lived just south of Kingston upon Thames before moving here. Hermosa Ciudad,mucha diversidad,paisajes,rios,miradores,mucho cafe,mujeres hermosas,arte comercio y cultura las personas son muy amables,recomiendo mucho visitar la Florida el rio san jose y sus alrrededores entre ellos casacadas hermosas y con un exelente clima, hace sol en la mañana lluevue al medio dia y vuelve hacer sol jajaja me encanta Pereira la avenida circunvalar, la via Pereira-Armenia o Pereira hacia el valle,quien visita esta hermosa ciudad no se quiere ir.

I totally agree. The surrounding towns are very beautiful. And yes, probably the most beautiful women in the world, too... but not just in looks, but also the polite and hospitable culture. Everyone has this friendly nature, it has to be experienced to be believed. Taxi drivers, bag backers, strangers in a queue... everyone loves a polite conversation when you visit Pereira.

I have clients on that big road leading west... the Energy Corridor. Also took trips to Galveston and Austin from there. Texas is such an amazing State. And I've only seen a fraction of it!! Exactly!! I hate trying to accelerate in 'Rain-Mode' - So sluggish... Possibly a hazard if you need to move quickly... but that's a whole new video topic I think.

I’m so thankful not living in a big city. Where I live it’s just under 10000 citizen on an area just over half the size of Pereira and I think that can be a little crowded sometimes 😂

+Joones Adventures MC ... I hear you. We get the best of both worlds. When we need a break, we have a farm in the country only 30 mins out if the city... You can see a little of it on my first two BMW review videos... 500km and 2,000. The bigger cities in Colombia are far more hectic. I'll do a video next time I visit Bogota, Cali and Medellin.

@@MotoBrit Yes I can see that Pereira actually is a “small” city among other cities in the world. Here in Sweden It would be a large city, we have two cities with more than 500000 citizens. The third largest has about 350000 citizens. The smallest has around 2300 citizens. And those who are smaller than that is not really called cities 😊

hi first of all, thank you very much for your videos, i'm always happy to watch them all keep up the good work. i wanted to ask you something about the bmw navi that you have on your motorcycle. it is good? I see that some people are using the garmin zumo xt on the gs. do you perhaps know the differences or the advantages of bmw's own navigation system?

+STEREOTURK ... Thanks for the kind words again my friend. To be honest, I bought the Garmin, after going to the trouble of repositioning the mount, but I now don't actively use it. When I need navigation, I actually use Google Maps on my phone, mounted in that bracket on the right. I simply find it easier to use, even whilst on the move (ie quick search for nearest gas station on route) and the ease of seeing time and distance. It also syncs with my music via my Cardo Freecom 4+, where the Garmin does not. Meaning the sound fading in and out between music and voice directions. So unfortunately, my Garmin has just become a secondary back-up satnav, that comes on when I start the engine, and just shows the live position. I'm thinking of taking it off altogether, but it does look nice I suppose and gets envy looks from other bikers when sitting at traffic lights. Haha. But sorry I can't be of any help to answer your question.
