This trail is very nice, it starts off of Montana past the mountain crossing Red Sands. If you go on OnX offroad you can click on the Timberon Express trail. This is my OnX link if you would like to help out the channel. onxoffroad.app.link/oyEToMIywBb

Camped that same road in January! Beautiful place. Although on our way up we did come to a pretty deep washout, which caused us to drop into the river bed and come out the other side of the washed out road. Very eventful day but made it all worth it when we got to camp!
@Carhoardersociety4 жыл бұрын
Yeah with rain and snow fall the trail can go from nice and mild to more aggressive. Its beautiful scenery though.

It would depend on your comfort of speed but realistically 4hrs without set backs and at a enjoyable pace.

I was wondering if 54 HWY be faster, just past orogrande past Border Patrol check, is paved i think for 15miles or so then one would turn north into Timberon back way....would be better faster than Hueco Tanks North toTimberon? Thanks

Yes taking that road would definitely cut time down. We will be doing this trail once more on Friday August the 26th.
