I love the film loops, the psychedelic "ancient" ones in the beginning, and the 70's travelogue ones through out... "if you had wings" and Epcot of the 80's got killed off by cable TV, and The Travel Channel, but there was a moment in first few years when it seemed magical. Glad I can revisit it online -thanks for posting this

Scott Krensavage sadly with the way Disney is going, we might get a Coco ride in Mexico Pavilion. Everything new is IP’s anymore. Only to know this ride was replaced by an IP-based (Three Caballeros) ride.

Thank you for posting. I visited Epcot in the 1980's, shortly after it opened. This is exactly how I remember the Mexican Pavilion: Too many video screens. If I wanted to watch videos, I could stay at home and watch KZbin.

the first time me and my family visited WDW, this ride was there and the next time we came back the caballeros were there instead! My dad loved this ride so so much and he was devastated that it had been 'disney-fied' (although what do you expect, you are on disney property haha)

Hi! This scene shows the "Voladores de Papantla" dance. It was born in Veracruz and represents the people asking for rain in order to let the crops grow faster! It is really interesting, you should check it out :)

This is way cooler than Donald Duck I wish we still had this. Don’t get me wrong I’m very nostalgic for Donald Duck as I remember it as a 2000s kid going.

I loved this version. I loved the culture it displayed. It had a lot of inspiration and imagination to it. This is what Epcot was about. Donald Duck is my favorite of the Fab 5 but I am don't think they should have put the three Cabarellos in it. Very uninspiring.

I am a Disney voice actor , I narrate The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride, so when I went out to WDW for the grand opening of Tower of Terror in 1994 I went on El Rio Del Tiempo and I absolutely loved it. I want to do voices for more Disney rides and attractions.

I'm Mexican American I love Disney alot because my mom worked there when I saw this video Disney actually got it right but the one thing is they mixed up Aztec and Mayan culture it's cool but once in a while I cant tell. Now since they changed the ride it became more family friendly bruh we got to educate people about la raza I mean why wont you keep that ride for people who want to learn history and build a family friendly ride ment for kids they should have kept the ride 😔😔💪🏽💪🏽🇲🇽🇲🇽

those are called marionnetes, I bet anyone who has been on the ride (not me, never traveled outside of canada) and their ethnicity is Mexican would sure miss the original cause it represents their country now not anymore, just a interactive ride of trying to find donald duck in mexico
