El Rufai seems uncomfortable that Obi is such a popular figure that he himself is referring Obi to be a Nollywood star. El-Rufai also says Obi is gonna sweep the East (5 States), the South-South (6 States), win the middle belt (say another 3 to 5 of the states), and Christians in the North and has a significant presence in Lagos and the South West (say another 2-3 states win) even though he tries to play it down. What is concerning though and which must concern many Nigerians is El-Rufai and his keep-the-status-quo team claiming to be conducting their own polls different from what many independent polling organizations are showing, meaning they are ready to forge and force their own polls and election results on Nigerians. God through the Nigerian masses has a surprise for them! What Gov El Rufai seems to fail to understand or admit is that current situation in Nigeria cannot suggest victory for a ruling party. Gov El Rufai can remain brash and over confident about the capacity of APC to win elections after pushing the country to the brink. In 2015 when APC won elections, Nigeria was nowhere close to what is happening now. Yet, the country voted against the PDP. What gives Gov El Rufai the confidence in his own polling that APC would win? The political dynamics have changed clearly and the people can see how APC has made their lives worst off than in 2015.
