Cuscatlan was the original name where san salvador is...... it's the native name of the city

Now you can compare our humble small country with another one that looks after ours, hey great you visit our vibrant downtown, not so much time ago where u were going people never went by since criminals now as well as you we feel soo excited going anywhere

Dude, your trip looked awesome! I'm from El Salvador but live in L.A but I want to give you my sincere admiration for the decision you made to go to El Salvador. Everything you experienced is the true nature of our people. You are fearless and it has paid off because you are now the envy of many and a traveling risk takers which makes you a true celebrity. Can't wait to see your coming back to El Salvador video..

I would have to say just walking down the street, especially through the historic center and the market. I loved the energy and the Salvadorian culture that was there. The view of Lago Ilopango was beyond stunning too! What is your favorite part and do you have any future recommendations for me? And glad you enjoyed! :)

Bien 👍 The hot drink called (shilate) is only made of corn flour with pepper and is neither salty nor sweet because they give it to you when you buy your yuka snacks (nuegados ) that are usually quite sweet and the drink is simply to remove the cloying, although many people only take a little. Next time rent a car from the car rental agencies that have some youtubers or the same followers of the youtubers from El Salvador and they will take it to you at the exit of the airport, because if you rent it inside the airport the famous rental cars are very expensive.

Thanks for the insight on the drink! I enjoyed it a lot. It was something that I’ve never tried before and didn’t expect to be warm but that made it so much better. And using a car could be a terrific way to see the rest of the country! I want to make it to Santa Ana too soon so using what you suggested could be great
