this was the first place we visited when we 'discovered' the Murcia region back in 2012. The resort was empty, like a ghost town at the time. For Sale signs everywhere and lots of bank repos. I can remember looking at the estate agents price list for 3 bed villas wth pool at around 160k (same with Mar Menor back then 120k for 2 bed villa with pool). NIce to see its being well maintaned and a lot busier now. Thanks for the tour.

Another brilliant video. Next time you come to el Valle let me know and I’ll give you a tour. You haven’t missed much to be fair. The driving and putting range is beside hole number 1. It’s absolutely top class. The resort is very quiet, restaurant is only one and not great tbh. The clover bar has never been opened . There are plans to build more facilities including a spa and hotel… but when is the key question. Keep up the great work

Hi Shaun. Interesting vid as always. 👍 I have been using a solar cover on the pool for a week and a bit. It was 29 today. I have forgotten to put it on tonight being busy doing other stuff so it'll be interesting to see what it is tomorrow. it was 19 when I opened it up about 10 days ago. Sorry I havent been about, i still have some things for you and Jan here. Seem to spend my life trying to wake the dog up in the morning or waiting for elusive deliveries every day. Jan will be back from the Caribbean in less than a week so life should free up a bit.

Thank you Kev, interesting to know if it works with the cover, still seems a lot of work removing the cover but good to know. Time goes so quick when you’re busy but don’t over do it in this sun ☀️ many thanks for watching 👍

Hi Shaun. Interesting outcome to the test overnight. With the solar cover on the temperature drops about 1 degree overnight. I left it off last night and it dropped 5 degrees! With the reel to hold the cover, it is not really cumbersome, taking about a minute to get it off and about 5 minutes to put it on. Only problem being with the position of my filter return jets right at the surface I can't run the filter overnight with the cover on. Now I had better get the pool back up to temperature before Jan gets back or I will be in trouble. It takes a lot of kettles to warm it up. 😁👍
