Very nice video! Each time with more quality and information. I had been to Elafonisi in 1983, when no one knew about it and I was amazed by the magic of the landscape. We went on enduro bikes (we were young) and ate in the only small tavern that had 5 tables... I don't want to go again, I want to keep that image in my mind. Your enthusiasm and humor cheers us up, may you always be happy!

We just used this road to Elafonisi from Kissamos 2 weeks. Went there 3 times in 5 days. And thank you for saving 2€ at the parking. I remembered this video and just drive through to the 3€ parking. 😘

Is easy to find if you look for rent in October to February, we think you can find something starting from 300€ if you are lucky ... We are residents here. made both balos and elafonisi last week. after 10 greek islands and lots of famous beaches, elafonisi was the biggest dissapointment in greece in general. anyone whos not disabled i recomend balos. yeah, maybe the drone footages are stunning but in reality you will not get that kind of view when you come there. on balos you do because of the mountains.

Elafonisi is really hyped for sure, I think it depends on what expectations you have. I agree. You get amazing views at Balos, especially if you do the hike down to the beach. The scenery is absolutely stunning. 💙 We did enjoy Elafonisi, too. They are so different.

​@@Sunpire yes, my expectations were hight because elafonisi is so hyped. so i tryed to watch as little footages as possible. a lot of beaches in greece are also popular because of the wow effect when viewing from above. like most of the the ionioan island beaches . elafonisi is flatland , mountains are too far, so maybe thats why i was so dissapointed. plus too many people beause the road gets almost straight into the sea. it lacks the exclusivity/exotic character because its too easy to reach.

Next time, try Kedrodasos Beach! It's very close to Elafonisi, not as hyped, so it's still a gem. We loved it!💙
