Yes but if that lifestyle makes you unhealthy and miserable than it's not good is it? I regret doing that. Because success is still not in sight and the world is constantly changing. Just live your life NOW. Don't think about the future, it can always get worse than before. NOW could be the best you're gonna get in this life so don't ignore it. Enjoy it.

@ why would that make me unhappy or miserable? I love my small apartment, affordable car and budget friendly grocery shopping. I’d rather have money set aside for retirement so I don’t have to work when I’m 70 and if I pass away before that my kids will have my life insurance, whatever is in the bank and take over my cleaning business
@L278-b7z10 күн бұрын
@andreabellini6796 Leaving below my means, for me is: a moldy rented apartment with a crazy neighbor playing loud music all night and yelling around, hearing the toilet flushing from my neighbors, weed and cigarette smoke filling my apartment from the common hallway AND from the outside when I open my windows ALL DAY LONG. So it is impossible to air out. My clothes smell bad because of these smells coming from everywhere so work colleagues don't respect me and bully me because of it. Rats in the basement and around the trash outside etc etc So you actually are pretty privileged don't you think? If you have a car especially. My parents never had a car and don't even have a driver's license or any type of insurance to leave to me. I'm on my own. Oh, and I have to save money to take care of my elderly parents soon instead of saving for a house, which is anyway impossible since a decent one costs above 200000eur and when I have enough money they'll be twice as much. Very nice, can we switch? I also want to be 70 years old so that I don't have to suffer that much longer till I die.
@andreabellini67969 күн бұрын
@@L278-b7z privileged is a strong word. My parents didn’t have money or college degrees. I was a single mother who worked full time and delivered pizza on weekends just to be able to afford rent. I started cleaning houses during Covid when my job laid us off. I’ve worked my tail off for almost 5 years to build my business and still do. I clean 90% of the time with my employees even though my body aches from non stop scrubbing. I also have emails, payroll, scheduling, client communication etc. I’ve put in hard work and pretty much 0 days off or vacations in order to get here, so yes I will happily live a frugal life and have money aside for an emergency or my retirement which is sooner than later since I will be 50 this year.
