i love this homemade wonton wrapper video ,you can use wonton wraps for crab rangoons , beef, pork, or chicken wontons and even raviolis. thanks a bunch, the best demo on homemade wonton wraps ever

hi great video i cant find these wrappers where i live. you make is seem easy and simple. I will try it at home. but quick question is only flour salt eggs and water and the corn starch is to put on the board ? right? is the water at room temp or little warm? what if i dont have corn starch can i use flour to put on the board

ytzel zapatà the dusting flour is also all purpose flour. Water doesn't have to be warm just normal tap water. Dough will turn out fairly sticky so you will need a ton of dusting flour.

Hii, Many thanks for this video, I have one question/query if i want to keep Wonton wrapper for later use i.e. after 5-6 hr. how to maintain/keep Wonton wrapper freshness/softness for longer time. Will Appreciate your expertise in this regards.

If it is just 5-6 hr, you can wrap in air-tight bag and place in fridge. For longer time, I suggest freezing them.

Yes, you can use the skin as cups in baking recipes.

I would brush the skin with oil first before baking so that it will be slightly crispy.

So I just ran into this video and I had a pretty ignorant question. What is the difference between wonton wrappers (this recipe) and the recipe for dumplings that you posted a while back? Can you use this recipe for dumplings? I see that one recipe calls for eggs while the other doesn't. Awesome channel by the way!

Wonton wrapper should be thinner so there are usually egg added while dumpling wrappers can be made only with flour and water.

+JC Howie Hi JC, wonton wrappers can be kept in freezer, must be in an airtight bag. Next time, before wrapping, remove it from freezer to refrigerator until they becomes slightly soft and you can handle them. Happy cooking!

Yes, you can freeze them in zip bags. Cut them into squares and slightly dust. Then place in the bag and remove all the air. You can keep them for 1 week. Next time before wrapping, place in room temperature until slightly soften back.

There are quite similar. Wonton is a Chinese food while Momos is popular in Nepal and India. The seasonings used are different.
