No those aren't Grunts. Combine Grunts have a fuel-tank on their back and attached on their backpack, but the Combine you see are just the model update to the Combine Soldier, and the one in the back is the Combine Commander, which is possibly the model update to the Combine Elite.

Source 2 really goes above and beyond anything Source 1 could do. Even games on a heavily updated version of it with new APIs and tons of new features like Titanfall 2 or Black Mesa don't reach even a comparable level of quality, especially considering the 72-90fps target at significantly higher resolutions and re-rendering the frame for each eye in VR, and the sheer density of objects you can interact with and their physics.

Deberías jugarlo, es muy buena saga. A día de hoy no creo que te cause el impacto que hacía en el 98 o 2004. El que si podría hacerlo es Half Life Alyx gracias a sus innovaciones de VR. Yo jugué HL1 en 2011 e igual me causó impacto porque no tenía consolas, solo un viejo PC en el que jugaba CS 1.6 y me voló la cabeza un juego tan divertido, misterioso y con una narrativa tan buena e interesante. Luego Half-Life 2 me voló la cabeza porque era primera vez que jugaba un juego con buenos gráficos, físicas y la historia aún más elaborada. Half-Life Alyx nuevamente me impactó, por como explota el VR.

@engineer with the drip Metropolice are non-augmented. Combine is when they start trading in their memory or something and become part machine. (There's a vid about this) Not to mention, in HL2, they became their own faction, separate from the Combine. So not really.

1 gman was just confusing, 2 gman's meat suit didnt look human enough, alyx gman moved like a far more powerful creature stuck in a human body, spoke like he had a grasp on our vocal systems but not quite, and had the perfect mannerisms to sell it all. Alyx's gman scene is my favorite by far.
