I love the Elcor...one of my favorite sci fi species ever. I think whoever created them for Mass Effect created something pretty special.

The older Mass Effect games are excellent, and the different alien species are great. Salarians, Elcor, Krogans... All very well designed and given awesome and interesting lore.

I get the feeling that you wouldn't want to piss off an Elcor on a planet with normal gravity. They are likely surprisingly fast and strong when they want to and are not hampered by their normal high gravity. I really like them though, their ambassadors on the citadel are amongst the only likable politicians in the entire trilogy. Calm, polite and happy to speak to humans, despite other races disliking humans.

Although, when humans are in low gravity enviroments we suffer from loss of muscle and bone mass, they might face that as well.

Erwin Richter considering that to counteract this humans exercise on a constant basis to keep muscle, it might be that Elcors do the same. This makes me imagine that there’s a lot of profitable gyms owned and run by Elcors in standard gravity areas.

Erwin Richter yeah, but you don’t really have much of a choice in that situation. I’d imagine that they wouldn’t be like human gyms though, less treadmills and spin cycles, and more like slow weight pulling. Think of those weight machines that you pull down on but instead of down it’s more forward to fit their quadrupedal nature.

@@Trollgernautt I frequent sci-fi writers' forums like the sci-fi writing and world building subreddits, and the speculative evolution subreddit. I don't think I've seen many of them in mainstream media very often either. I do highly recommend spending some time browsing the new or trending parts of those forums. People come up with some crazy stuff.

Some other races from Star Wars you could do include the Gungans, the Toydarians, the Hutts, the Twi'Lek, the Kaminoans, the Rodians, the Dugs, the Weequay, ... there's an entire galaxy's worth of races. Outside of that, you could do the Votanis Collective from Defiance, which is made up of the Castithans, the Irathients, the Indogene, the Sensoth, the Liberata, and the Gulanee, plus the Volge and the Omec. 8 races that originated in the same solar system and traveled for 3,000 to Earth when their system was destroyed.

First 3 games didn't have the chance because of pacing. Although I would love it. Also special training and suits with eezo to withstand their planet conditions. I didn't play Andromeda. But if there was large planet encountered you could send an one man tank ;)
