Every Single Area you can get lost in for at least 4 hours to fully search it, and there is like 200 hundred unique places to visit across lands, I just closed my studio for 2Days and played like 38 hours with 3 hours sleep, just passed the first boss in the end, was just searching places, and by that I only mean first area, and south and East of that, god know there is like 20 dungeons just in these areas that i Skiped, to come back later, GODDD my mind is falling apart :))))))))))))))))))))))

Another option to consider is going for an int build with 24 faith to use the sword of night and flame. There a is seal that scales with int so now you can have whatever sorceries you want and cherry pick some of the incantations as well! Great flexibility.

Just a quick note, you can get the erdtrees favor +2 in the ashen capital part when you come back from the grand lift of rold side and try to enter the place from there. There should be 3 treeworm dudes guarding a sole item on a root. that item is the erdtrees favor +2 talisman.

For anyone that isn't a huge fan of twinblades, I greatly recommend running with the Cross Naginata. You can find it in Gael Tunnel and it's fucking bonkers. One hit bleeds people 95% of the time in pvp, and so far it hasn't taken more than 5 hits to bleed a boss. This is all because it has innate bleed already, so when Seppuku gets added onto that, shit gets wild

Couple folks have been curious about Bloodflame blade so I ran a quick DPS test on a nearby Evergaol. This build procced bleed in 4 hits for a total of 1963 with Seppuku active. You can't use Bloodflame blade on Godskin Peeler after it's been changed to Bleed or Occult so I made it Keen to test it out. Took close to 8 hits to proc a bleed and the overall damage was much lower. Maybe with a default weapon that has built-in bleed like a Uchi it might be more viable but it's definitely not work it if you're using any of the 3 weapons showcased in the build.

Everything is pretty strong in this game, not just bleed. Especially at that rune level, no need to nerf it. Only two things are really broken atm where it's zero skill and you just nuke ppl with zero risk: The shield turret and the instant proximity death exploit.

Faith strength is kinda difficult to pull off this time... I find that int/sorcery has more option early and late game, much more viable options. So I plan on respec for arcane build since I have everything I need for it. Since I got that madness war pyke, I can't wait to switch between blood and madness build, like a dragon born mage. Like he said, this is def a mid-late game build so I'd probably have to start early weak anyway.

For real, Comet Azure is insane. You can create a Physick that let's you do skills and spells without using up FP for about 10 seconds and increase damage dealt by magic attacks with two rather mid game-ish crystal tears. It's such a perfect fit for just holding down for as long as possible. xD It's so much fun.

It’s powerful and shreds but it’s situational. A lot of people posting those vids don’t do what cowboy did here. Properly demonstrating the build against difficult adversaries. Opponents like the black knife assassin will never let you cast a spell unless it’s carrion slicer. And a lot of people like to rely on summons but those aren’t always available to take aggro off you. Finally, as much as I enjoyed azur comet, the biggest drawback is you can’t manipulate where it shoots after casting. So enemies will take a chunk but then serve you a knuckle sandwich once they get out of its way.

Just wanted to say that your hunch that bleed is percentage based was correct. Doesn’t matter who or what you’re fighting, if you get a bleed proc off it will chunk the health bar hard. Great video. Would love to see an update now that Arcane scaling has been fixed in the recent gigantic patch. As an off-hand suggestion, I’d be willing to bet that Eleonora’s Poleblade would be amazing for this build as well. It scales off of Arcane and Dex primarily and causes blood loss buildup by default. Only downside being that you can’t change the Ash of War that’s on it.

Its effect sounds nice on paper but is actually pretty terrible. Since it only regens you up to that critical threshold. But you will most likely die by one hit either way at that threshold. Also the fact that you're never really often at that low health considering you would just chug a flask if that happens.

I've been playing around with this setup and it's really disgusting for pve and pvp like gross damage I love it. I think it's safe to say bleed will probably get nerfed in the future. I just hope they fix arcane scaling on certain weapons 👍

@FightingCowboy - A couple of REALLY weird things I've come across using the Ekzykes's Decay breath. -If you do it mid air with the sacred seal in your left hand you can only get one quick shot. But if you do it mid air with the sacred seal in your right hand, you can do the full extended breath, same as the ground. -If you cast the breath attack midair with a sacred seal in one hand, and a melee weapon in your other hand, and then attack with your melee weapon WHILE falling after the midair breath, you will no longer be able to use mid air Dragon breath, until you literally reload the zone, or into another zone. Resting at bonfire won't do. Has to be a full reload by traveling to a grace.

With the bleed buff talisman you don't need to make an enemy bleed. It's any bleeding so using Seppuku proc's the effect. Having Seppuku on my dual katana set up(the big washing pole in my main hand and a normal in the offhand) enemies and bosses get blood loss in 2-3 hits. Might take 5 if their resistances to bleed is higher.

I have a super fun/broken dragon/faith/arcane build with both bleed DMG and holy DMG basically it's dragon communion seal on left hand and switchable with Winged Axe depending if enemies require a melee/mixed fight or ranged , right hand is normal scythe +25 enchanted with Blood and Bloodhound step ash of war. Of course the evocation is Mimic tear and for incantations i use lightning spear (which is just straight up broken and a really solid dps output with ridiculously low cast time and overall a very fast spell), Ekzykes decay (core spell, shreds everyone unless it's immune to rot), other flexible Dragon breaths (the special ones not the normal ones ofc), then i use Fortissax lightning spear incantations that just deals tons of dmg but it's a bit clunky, and erdtree heal as a supportive spell + when the mimic tear uses it it's rly rly broken especially if you stay close since you want to double scythe ur enemy often and u can choose for the mimic to either copy the double scythe or the seal. Speedran malenia basically flawlessly with this build in a minute or so she was Perma stun/blood buildup and agheels breath took like 40% HP in one blow of both first and second phases if you use it at the start it just deals so much dmg.

@@ruimoreira3728 well there is a few ways you can go with it. You can either go dex arc with bleed infusions or str arc (but allot less options for that) and finally pure arc. Find a weapon with inate bleed that can use seppuku and can be infused with occult. Examples that I'm aware of are flamberge uchigatana or the scavengers curved sword.

@@ruimoreira3728 so they just fixed the scaling on broken arcane weapons. Now those are usable. If you get the black whet blade you can infuse bleed poison or occult on any normal weapon arts or arcane weapon arts. (So no elements like fire or lightning) you get it in the under ground area that opens after you defeat radahn also it's a good idea to have one scarlet rot weapon with poison infusion (best of both worlds)

That armor set actually grants HP regen so if you are using Blood ashes and get low, it could keep you at a certain percentage (not exceptionally useful but there is a use) nice foresight cowboy

Great build! I started a new arcane character for bleed fun with double Reduvia which is great for now. When I saw arcane scaling seal I saw potential in some incantations as well this is great! Also, the White Mask would probably be amazing with this. It's another 10% boost when you get a bleed for 20 secs, it stacks with the talisman too!

You can get to the Dynasty palace quite early into the game though, just need to follow Varre's Questline, one can get there within less than 10 hours of the game without rushing anything in an alt character (the first playthrough is usually slower)

I actually really like rot breath…many people prefer it due to the longer range + cheaper requirements. Easy early pickup, and once you get it it makes a lot of encounters pretty trivial.

It might be worth to duel wield daggers (Erdsteel scales with faith and can have ashes put on it and Reduvia is great) and min stat dex and strength to pump up faith and arcane another 20 points while keeping the SL the same.

Dragon claw has a niche use vs the big stone giants, still have to mess with it but it seems when they lean down for any reason and you cast the spell its huge splash zone gets a head hit or something and I've been able to two shot those giants fairly consistently, something the spell is very good at comboing together albeit it eats fp but what's new with dragon incantations. Also midway through the animation you have hyperarmor something most spells lack as well as it doing a strong amount of poise dmg. Still not great for the fp but some fringe cases. Working to see if it can do similar to other big enemies with weak zones.

Hey just a thing i discovered having gone dragon focus from start. For some reason there is a bug regarding casting breaths mid air. Here is my findings IF you main hand talisman you can consistently hold the attack in air. If you are off handing you can only hold the breath attack in air IF you have no weapon in main hand.

btw wouldn't say the damage output on these things are broken. A good endgame build is an investment of close to 100 hours, and here we are talking lvl 150, Ofc it should be powerful, thats the fun thing about it. :) Bleed is powerful the whole game through, but so are many other builds. With the amount of cheese we get from some of the bosses its just fair :)

Theres a helm that boosts attack power when bloodless occurs nearby. Sounds nice and I think it stacks with the talisman that does the same thing.

I'm actually making a hybrid of your 2 builds as it turns out, I'm doing Arcane and Faith right now. I'm loving the Madness spells, the Dragon spells and just bleed in general. So I was like fuck it, I'm gonna try to make it all work! Btw, I've been loving the content CB! Keep up the great work!

You can certainly do it especially with the arcane scaling on the dragon talisman, the problem is figuring out how to fit all the spells you want

This build is so fun I planned on switching to str build before ng+ but I'm sticking with this until ng+ renalla at the least. Can melt most bosses and mobs but can't just stand there and tank things. Perfect feel for people who like dps style play

Hey cowboy, quick guess, the mask that slowly replenishes hp when it is reduced…have you tried getting touched by Fia and see if that’s what triggers it? Literal debuff reducing your HP? I don’t have the mask yet to test it out. Thanks for all you do! love the content, always use your 100%s on my 2nd play throughs so I don’t miss anything!

it's used when super low on hp, around 15% and it replenishes just to 15%.

After Radanhs you get the black wetstone that gives you bleed infusions that scale with arcane

@@lvx969 you can get the 5 dragon hearts from that dragon NPC that doesn’t move and get some nice dragon spells. Also the spell of the flies you can easily obtain on the ground in an endgame area it’s teleportablw after varres quest. And the armor he has on is also obtainable you just gotta kill a low level NPC.

@@TheEventide Buildup scales with Arcane, not damage unfortunately. Bleed damage is a static % based on the enemies HP. The buildup bonus isn't exactly trivial, but it's also not going to carry a build IMO. Best to use Occult infused weapons with Arcane (the ones without bugged scaling at least) and Seppuku for bleed buildup... or go full Dex/Keen with some faith and arcane as utility and buff weapons with Bloodflame or Blood Grease. When From Soft fixes the bugged weapon scaling Arcane will be much more valuable outside of Occult Infusions.

@@FightinCowboy It seems that and a couple of other arcane scaling weapons are not scaling with any stats currently. So if FromSoft ever fixes that bug it might actually end up being pretty good, but right now it’s just disappointing.

The reason bleed is so good in these NG+ cycles is because the bleed is % health based. Bleed is decent in NG, but in NG+7 it's fucking insanity.

The named flames are not better. They have less hyper armor, slower cast time (and a break in the animation) higher fp cost, less range, and can't be cast from horseback. All for a marginal increase in damage

I hit the rot dragon for 22k while missing two of my buff spells on playthrough 5 with the named dragon spell. They are better

​@@jesseholloway7714 Are you saying that you hit something with the rot breath? because rot does percent of maximum health damage over time regardless of the source. The base damage increase is marginal. Do a proper comparison and you'll see you do just about as much damage with the regular unnamed ones. Weather that damage is worth it is subjective, and down to individual choice. The point is that they are not objectively better.

@@nathantagg2691 just tested it again to be sure. If doing more damage isn't objectively better, then I don't know what is. It's really that simple. And the damage isn't marginal when you are scaling up your damage before a fight. I honestly don't know what else to say. Its more damage if you want to be doing less damage with worse spells then go ahead. The range also isn't less clearly you haven't tested these spells well for yourself but whatever think you are right about doing less damage.

I really want a cocktail mixture of faith and arcane. Love my faith and I love the dragon communion. Being a beefy tank with good stagger. A pinch of blood thrown in there as well.

4 questions: 1) you can not imbue special/boss weapons? I got a boss/special wep and my imbue weapon is grey🙄 2) boss/ special weapons only upgrade to +10 3) armor does not upgrade? Their is no +armor? 4) what do YOU think? Is fair of them to handy cap these boss or special weapons like this?

you dont need to go to that secret region and use the teleporter to get blood spells at all. you can do white masks quest line. i got flies at level 1 and i only killed godrik. thats the only boss you need to kill to get flies.

If nobody has told you yet yes the royal remains only starts healing when you drop below about 20% health and stops once you get to that again so it's OK but most good to counter poison if you run out of heals

The problem with the named breath over the other is that is has less range from what i've seen. the named breath has a wide frontal cone, but is shorter distance, while the regular breath is more of a long ranged column. To use the "named breath" you have to time it out really well so the cast doesn't get interupted.

I recently pumped my arc and faith for a lot of my weapons. I use the bloodhounds fang and the reduvia daggers. I know eventually I want to get into my intelligence cause I’ll want to go dragons spells on top of that
