I have noticed that when players die in elden ring, regardless of the ring they wear to make them host or phantom, the particles that come off them as they die show their true from. Host is white particles that come off them and phantoms are gold and blue I think is blue.

I don't know if this applies to any of the pvp ripostes, but a two-step riposte (i.e., UGS ripostes) will trigger the Blade of Mercy damage boost on the first step, which means the second step of the riposte (which usually does most of the damage) will be enhanced

For critical hits that hit twice (like those of non-thrust-attack weapons), the Blade of Mercy is activated by the first hit and then active for the second one. That makes the Executioner's Axe probably the best weapon for this Talisman. It has 115 Crit and receives the damage boost from Blade of Mercy for its strong hit of the crit already, no need for crit chaining to make use of the Talisman that way. EDIT: After looking into it again just in case, it seems some weapons had this property removed in Patch 1.14. Colossal Weapons, for example, still seem to activate the Talisman on the first hit, but Colossal Swords don't. I'm not sure how Greataxes are affected.

I think, depending on the amount of effort required, doing half invasions in vanilla and half invasions in seamless, like how you did showcases as duels and invasions, might be worth doing moving forward just with how popular seamless is.
