Biggest mistake you can make in Elden ring is assume the jump button is only for platforming. You can create so many openings with jumping.

@@Vengeance_I_m i'd love It but i'm afraid they will nerf it instead, it makes some moves much easier to deal with and it's also pretty OP for breaking the stance to some bosses with guard counters. I really hope of being wrong tho, i'm loving It so much.

@@Patrick_Gameman All they need to do is to not make it work with shields. I feel the stamina loss is still quite high if you just use normal weapons. For shields, it is pretty strong, since the stamina cost is reduced to basically nothing and even if you don't perfect parry, you still block. Also, depending on the weapon, you are also thrown back from certain attacks way more even if they don't for shields. So as long as it doesn't work with shields, it should be balanced enough.

@@Patrick_Gameman I think what they need to do is make it so that you take much more damage and stamina damage while blocking, also lower the damage negation of the weapon block, like let's say if a shield has 100% physical negation, it should become 80% for a period where deflecting crystal tear is active. This way you will really have to time your parries perfectly to make it work. Because right now it's overpowered because you can spam block and be just fine, like I wish they made it something akin to Demon's bell in Sekiro. Like Sekiro with that debuff takes chip damage when blocking and much more posture damage, so it would be similar addition to Elden Ring with you taking chip damage when spamming block instead of parrying and taking more stamina damage (similar to your posture being damaged in Sekiro)

The Loretta's Mastery timing at 1:14 was smooth, but that split-second Carian Retaliation counter at 1:38 was extremely surprising. I didn't expect that at all, and hadn't thought about how it might be an extremely effective counter to that. Also, all those cheeky Bone Darts just casually tossed in amongst everything were especially amusing, and a perfect finale with Bayle!

Using the spear for phase 2 was such a good and creative nod to sekiro whilst also adding to the flare of the fight with complimentary colours in phase 2 and increase in aggression. You really are just one of the GOATS huh. Not just in souls but video presentation and showing us that maybe we should give those weapons we used once and ditched another shot.
