Hold on, there's 3 now?? First it was 1, seeing 2 yesterday surprised me, and now i see 3. I got just far enough to get the grace in front of the priestess and talk to her (grand communion site) and then i left to go do some other stuff since basically everything is telling me that Bayle is a monster so I wanted to power up a bit and maybe find a good weapon or 2 and get some practice in with their move sets. Should i wait another week and see if it jumps up to 5 forms??

Was using long range caster. BAAAD idea. Have to stay under him, then most of his BS moves dont get used. He´s way too damaging, aggressive, long reaching with his attacks at ranged play.

@@ganondorf66 Gaius was just cheap. Extremely damaging and horrendous hit boxes. At least with Bayle, messmer and the rest of the bosses it was fair and if I died it was due to skill at that time. Gaius is none of those things

Aight the useful info: 60 second buffs from forms. Priestess dragon cult lighting incantation buff. Rock dragon cult breath buff. Lamenter arcane +8 Reactivate the consumable to active the buffs. All have base resistance buffs that are generally good but specialiced armors beat them hands down for specific resistance.

The male dragon form boosts dragon breath incantations and the female dragon form boosts dragon cult incantations, but i do not know what the 3rd form does. You have to use the heart while transformed for the boost, so use the same heart twice.

Are you referring to the priestess form? Because that’s the 2nd form in this video, not the male. I’m using the male form and I don’t feel or see any improvement with my dragon breaths. Thinking about switching to priestess if it gives me a power boost.

The Rock Heart had a bug where after I got it and used it, about 30 seconds later maybe a little over a minute, my character died, like it played the sound and the white mist that happens when you fade away, but I wasn't dead and at full HP. I never had the black syrup didnt even know about it, so i got the weapon and heart. Biggest boon is the weapon decreases lightning resistance on the target.

One can only wish although it likely wont. However since the priestess heart boost lightning incantations then perhaps it will boost the ash of war on those weapons as well. As you may know the ashes of war function as incantations on many weapons and things that boost incantations such as mesmers flame always boost the ash of war on his associated weapon.

I'd have liked to see a rune arc like buff applied to dragon forms to properly compensate for no armour. Alternatively, a similar buff to Baldurs Gate 3 players who chose draconic bloodline with dragon scale defence which meant a buff was applied, as long as you had no armour on. I feel the forms are very weak and get destroyed pretty quickly. Just a thought 😊

Tip for Senesax, kite him to the left of the boss arena up the hill and you can get some easy head shots and it pulls him out of the water. Don’t go to far up the hill or he will spawn back in the middle of the arena, though his health won’t reset. Much easier to deal with.
